Description:
As a Berks County native, and a resident of Exeter Township for the past 30 years, I've seen the area grow and develop, not only in new businesses but also new construction of residential properties. For more than 27 years I've worked at Godiva Chocolatier, Inc. The last 15 years was as a Project Engineer, specializing in new construction and environmental compliance. During this time, I also earned my Bachelor of Science Degree, in Business, from Albright College. In 2005, I took my knowledge from Godiva and went into real estate. With the knowledge I acquired from Godiva, along with the many classes I've taken in real estate, my knowledge has grown in the real estate business within the Berks County area. Over the past 5 years, I've developed the knowledge and skill of assisting seniors in downsizing or moving to an assisted living environment. I've taken the Seniors Real Estate Specialist classes, and have maintained the SRES designation for 4 years. In 2006, while new construction was at its peak, I've assisted buyers with the purchase of these homes. Along with my new construction background from Godiva and the knowledge I've gained while taking the Certified New Home Sales Professional (CSP) course, I've been able to guide buyers in the process of all the steps and choices required when building a new home. As the market has turned, I've now shifted gears, and am working on obtaining the CDPE, Certified Distressed Property Expert designation. This will allow me to assist homeowners that have fallen on hard times and, possibly, help them avoid foreclosure by working with their bank. The CDPE will also help me in assisting buyers in the purchase of foreclosed and HUD homes. My emphasis is on creating personal client service that goes beyond their expectations. I know that the creation of long-term relationships is far more valuable than any single transaction. I'm diligent and hard working, as well as being a good listener, patient, and understanding; the elements of service that I have provided to my many clients over the last 5 years.
