Soil Compactor Having Low Profile Muffler

View page
US Patent:
20090208297, Aug 20, 2009
Filed:
Feb 20, 2008
Appl. No.:
12/033929
Inventors:
David J. Schulenberg - West Bend WI, US
Todd J. Lutz - Oconomowoc WI, US
Jeffrey W. Dujmovic - Milwaukee WI, US
David J. Waldenberger - Sussex WI, US
Gary D. Goplen - Stoughton WI, US
Dawn J. Auby - Stoughton WI, US
Assignee:
WACKER CORPORATION - Menomonee Falls WI
International Classification:
E02D 3/02
US Classification:
405271
Abstract:
A ramming device for compacting soil includes an upper mass and a lower mass. The lower mass is driven linearly back and forth with respect to the upper mass to compact material therebelow. An engine drives the lower mass and is supported by the upper mass. A muffler is fluidly connected to the engine and is contoured such that a majority of the muffler is positioned inboard of a footprint of a side of the ramming device. Preferably, the muffler has a shape that substantially matches a shape of the upper mass adjacent to the muffler thereby further reducing the distance that the muffler extends beyond a footprint of a sidewall of the device.

Power Module Heat Sink With High Conductivity Heat Spreader

US Patent:
20200375070, Nov 26, 2020
Filed:
May 20, 2019
Appl. No.:
16/416652
Inventors:
- Mayfield Heights OH, US
Jeffrey w. Dujmovic - Milwaukee WI, US
Avijit Bhunia - Newbury Park CA, US
Seongchul Jun - Thousand Oaks CA, US
Assignee:
Rockwell Automation Technologies, Inc. - Mayfield Heights OH
International Classification:
H05K 7/20
Abstract:
A heat sink for use with a heat generating component such as an electronic power module comprises a first substrate having a serpentine slot, a second substrate secured to a first side of the first substrate to form a combined substrate, surfaces of the first and second substrates at least partially forming a serpentine passageway within the combined substrate for containing a fluid. The serpentine passageway has a non-circular cross-sectional shape.

Multi-Rail/Roller Compliance System For Independent Mover Products

View page
US Patent:
20180086565, Mar 29, 2018
Filed:
Oct 13, 2016
Appl. No.:
15/292396
Inventors:
- Mayfield OH, US
Ilya Gurevich - Milwaukee WI, US
John C. Lamouree - East Patchogue NY, US
Juan A. Fernandez - Brown Deer WI, US
Jeffrey W. Dujmovic - Milwaukee WI, US
International Classification:
B65G 23/23
B65G 54/02
Abstract:
A mover system that provides spatially separated rails of the track interacting with pairs of closely spaced opposed wheels of the mover constraining movement of the mover on the track is provided. Each pair of wheels includes standard cylindrical or crowned wheels contacting the opposed parallel sides of standard rectangular rails, retaining the movers on the track in both horizontal and vertical directions normal to a transport direction along the track. The wheels bear loads in a radial direction with respect to axial motion consistent with its naturally positioned strength.

Multi-Trajectory Track And Mover System

View page
US Patent:
20170361731, Dec 21, 2017
Filed:
Jun 21, 2016
Appl. No.:
15/188203
Inventors:
- Mayfield Heights OH, US
Oliver Charles Wexner Haya - Milwaukee WI, US
Paul Jerome Grosskreuz - West Bend WI, US
Jeffrey William Dujmovic - Milwaukee WI, US
International Classification:
B60L 13/03
B61B 13/12
Abstract:
A linear drive transport system may include a track that includes first, second, third, and fourth track surfaces that define perimeter boundaries of the track and a magnetic drive system. The first, second, third, and fourth track surfaces include first, second, third, and fourth trajectories about the track, respectively, which are each different from one another. A mover may move along the track and include first and second leading bearings that interact with the first and second track surfaces, respectively, and first and second lagging bearings that interact with the third and fourth track surfaces, respectively, and a reaction element that interacts with the magnetic drive system to generate a propulsive force. The first and second leading bearings may be coupled to the mover at a first fixed distance from one another, and the first and second lagging bearings may be coupled to the mover at a similar distance.

Cable Clamping System For Strain Relief And Grounding

View page
US Patent:
20160336683, Nov 17, 2016
Filed:
May 11, 2015
Appl. No.:
14/709049
Inventors:
- Mayfield Heights OH, US
Jeffrey Dujmovic - Milwaukee WI, US
Brijeshkumar Meghpara - Germantown WI, US
Eric Krieg - Cedarburg WI, US
Assignee:
Rockwell Automation Technologies, Inc. - Mayfield Heights OH
International Classification:
H01R 13/58
H01R 13/6592
Abstract:
An electronics module includes a cable clamp chassis projecting outward from a wall of the module. The cable clamp chassis includes first and second cable mounting locations adapted to receive respective first and second cables. The cable mounting locations each include an axially extending recess located adjacent a first reference plane. Each of the cable mounting locations includes an inner surface with an innermost point that lies tangent to a second reference plane that is parallel to and offset from the first reference plane such that the first and second cables are arranged in a zero stack configuration. A clamp is secured to the cable clamp chassis and adapted to secure the first and second associated cables in the first and second cable receiving locations.
