Advanced Switching Peer-To-Peer Protocol

View page
US Patent:
20060004837, Jan 5, 2006
Filed:
Jun 30, 2004
Appl. No.:
10/882902
Inventors:
Victoria Genovker - Phoenix AZ, US
Ward McQueen - Chandler AZ, US
Mohamad Rooholamini - Gilbert AZ, US
Bo Li - San Diego CA, US
International Classification:
G06F 17/00
US Classification:
707102000
Abstract:
A peer-to-peer connection protocol for establishing and managing peer-to-peer connections between endpoints coupled via a serial-based interconnect fabric. A requesting endpoint generates and sends a query to a fabric manager requesting connection information for at least one target endpoint having attributes matching attributes specified in the query. The fabric manager returns a query reply containing connection information to connect the requesting endpoint to a target endpoint or multiple target endpoints having matching attributes. In the case of multiple target endpoints, one target endpoint is selected for the connection. The requesting and target endpoints then negotiate and establish the connection by passing connection information and parameters between themselves directly. Upon establishing the connection, the fabric manager is apprised of the new connection and updates its connection list. The method is facilitated by software components running on various devices coupled to the serial-based interconnect fabric. Such devices include server blades and ATCA boards. In one embodiment, the serial-based interconnect fabric comprises an Advanced Switching (AS) fabric.

Mail Processing Method And Apparatus, Device And Medium

View page
US Patent:
20220247702, Aug 4, 2022
Filed:
Apr 22, 2022
Appl. No.:
17/726810
Inventors:
- Los Angeles CA, US
Bo LI - Los Angeles CA, US
Justin Jia-Zhao LIM - Los Angeles CA, US
Jie ZHU - Beijing, CN
International Classification:
H04L 51/04
G06Q 10/10
H04L 61/5069
H04W 4/08
H04L 51/48
Abstract:
A mail processing method and apparatus, a device, a medium, a computer program product, and a computer program provided in the present disclosure, where the method includes: receiving a to-be-sent mail; obtaining, if it is identified that the to-be-sent mail includes an instant messaging group identifier, a group mail address corresponding to the instant messaging group identifier; and taking the group mail address as a recipient address and performing a sending operation on the to-be-sent mail. In the present disclosure, in a case of receiving, by a mail server, a mail sent by a mail client, if it is identified that the recipient includes an instant messaging group name, the mail is sent to a group address corresponding to the group name, which improves functional integration of email and IM software, thereby providing richer collaborative office functions.

Calibrating A Wireless Device For Determining Positioning Using Wireless Signals

View page
US Patent:
20180287568, Oct 4, 2018
Filed:
Feb 14, 2018
Appl. No.:
15/897073
Inventors:
- San Diego CA, US
Bo Li - San Diego CA, US
International Classification:
H03F 1/32
H04L 25/02
H03F 3/191
Abstract:
This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatuses for compensating for differences in path delays and phase offsets between receive paths of a wireless device. In one aspect, a device receives a first wireless signal using first and second receive paths, determines a first channel phase response of the first wireless signal as received by the first receive path, and determines a second channel phase response of the first wireless signal as received by the second receive path. The device compares the first and second channel phase responses with an expected channel phase response, and determines, for each of the first receive path and the second receive path, one or more phase correction values based on the comparison. The device adjusts the first and second channel phase responses based on the phase correction values.

Microfluidics Method For Detecting Chemicals In Water In Near Real Time

View page
US Patent:
20180128779, May 10, 2018
Filed:
Jun 10, 2017
Appl. No.:
15/619473
Inventors:
Richard Alan Haimann - Huntington beach CA, US
Bo Li - Bellevue WA, US
International Classification:
G01N 27/49
G01N 27/30
B01L 3/00
Abstract:
This invention relates to a method and system for measuring concentrations of total recoverable metals in fluids in real time. The method employs microfluidics channels with electrically actuated valves and pumps. The method employs on board pumps to draw a fluid sample into the device. The method employs logic circuits and memory circuits with computer code that control the opening and closing of on-board valves, the turning on and off of on-board pumps, and the direction in which onboard pumps propel fluids. The method employs on-board storage of reagents and, by controlling pumps and valves, mixes reagents with a fluid sample on board the device to prepare the sample for analysis. The method employs electrochemistry with one or more active electrodes, one or more inert electrodes, and one or more reference electrodes to measure concentrations of metals in solution, pH of solution, temperature of solution, and electroconductivity of solution. The method transmits information from the device to remote servers using telecommunications protocols and transceiver devices. The method employs pattern recognition algorithms to identify the correlations between voltage or current measurements on the device and concentrations of metals in the sample in the device. The method employs one or more ultrasonic transducers connected to the microfluidic channels and electrodes used to mix samples with reagents clean the device and maintain its viability.
