Magnetic Point Identifier

View page
US Patent:
54655005, Nov 14, 1995
Filed:
May 27, 1994
Appl. No.:
8/250157
Inventors:
Yuji Nammoto - Miami FL
International Classification:
B25H 704
US Classification:
33666
Abstract:
A magnetic point identifier to be used in the construction of structures wherein a hole is to be formed at a specific point in a surface of the structure, the identifier including a small magnetic element to be disposed to correspond the specific point, and including an indicator frame with a metallic, magnetically attractive pointer suspended therein. The indicator frame includes a base portion, an upstanding support member extending upwardly from the base portion, and a horizontal suspension arm which extends outwardly from the upstanding support member so as to overly the base portion which has a tapered free distal end to enable positioning of the indicator frame within a corner. Suspended from a second end of the horizontal suspension arm is the pointer which is disposed such that a pointed indicator end freely hangs beneath the horizontal suspension arm to point out the location of the magnetic element positioned to correspond the hole, the pointer further being disposed so as to be downwardly urged into the surface of the structure and form an indicating indentation in the surface of the structure wherein a drill or other hole making mechanism can be started for accurate making of the hole.

Side-Entry, Ratcheted Wrench Assembly

View page
US Patent:
56303440, May 20, 1997
Filed:
Jan 25, 1996
Appl. No.:
8/591824
Inventors:
Yuji Nammoto - Davie FL
International Classification:
B25B 1328
US Classification:
81 912
Abstract:
A side-entry, ratcheted wrench assembly having a handle segment, and first and second jaw members, each including a collar segment, a hub segment, and a pivot segment extending from the hub segment. Both the collar segments include exterior and interior ends, and an interior contact face extending therebetween, and define a bolt retention area wherein a bolt is retained. Further, the first pivot segment is pivotally secured to the handle segment, and the second pivot segment is pivotally secured to the first hub segment so as to provide for pivotal movement of the jaw members relative to one another between an engaged and a disengaged orientation. The engaged orientation includes the interior ends of the collar segments abutting one another so as to retain the bolt in the retention area, without clamping down on it, and is achieved and locked upon pivotal movement of the first jaw member in a first direction relative to the handle segment. Conversely, the disengaged orientation includes the jaw members pivoting relative to one another so that the exterior ends of the collar segments are spaced a maximum distance from one another and side entry of the bolt into the retention area is permitted. The disengaged orientation is achieved upon the first jaw member pivoting in a second direction which allows ratcheted rotation of the collar segments about the bolt without effecting rotation thereof.

Adjustable Wrench

US Patent:
20210023683, Jan 28, 2021
Filed:
Sep 28, 2020
Appl. No.:
17/034097
Inventors:
- Coral Gables FL, US
Yuji Nammoto - Coral Gables FL, US
Assignee:
Southern Handling and Delivery, LLC - Coral Gables FL
International Classification:
B25B 23/00
B25B 13/46
B25B 13/14
B25B 13/16
Abstract:
A wrench, connectable to a standard square shaped extension, has a wrench head with opposed jaw faces which together define a plane that lies perpendicular to the respective jaw faces. A standard square shaped extension socket is affixed to the wrench head, where a standard square shaped extension can be inserted into the standard extension socket, along a direction that is non-orthogonal to the transverse plane. The standard extension socket can be attached to a frame of the wrench head, or to a rotatable guide which controls movement the opposed jaw face which is movable.

US Patent:
20170320195, Nov 9, 2017
Filed:
May 9, 2016
Appl. No.:
15/149227
Inventors:
- Coral Gables FL, US
Yuji Nammoto - Coral Gables FL, US
International Classification:
B25B 13/16
B25B 13/06
B25B 13/14
B25B 13/50
Abstract:
A wrench for rotating a hex head fastener has a frame having one or two jaw faces. If the frame has two faces, they form a 60 degree angle between them. A movable jaw has two faces forming an angle of about 120 degrees relative to each other. A guide connected to the frame controls movement of the movable jaw along a line forming an angle of about 40.9 degrees with respect to a position of one of the frame faces.
