H04W 92/00
US Classification:
455411, 455420
Abstract:
A system, method, and apparatus for point of use verified aircraft assembly time collection are disclosed herein. The disclosed method for manufacturing process control involves assigning a plurality of manufacturing tasks to an interactive voice response (IVR) menu associated with a manufacturing process control application. The method further involves selecting one of the plurality of manufacturing tasks assigned to the interactive voice response menu via a mobile telephone device of the user. In addition, the method involves receiving a confirmation response on the mobile telephone device from the manufacturing process control application indicating the manufacturing task selected. In one or more embodiments, the assigning of the plurality of manufacturing tasks involves assigning each manufacturing task to a number. In some embodiments, the number corresponds to a key on the keypad of the mobile telephone device.

View page
US Patent:
20170369288, Dec 28, 2017
Filed:
Jun 22, 2016
Appl. No.:
15/189779
Inventors:
- Chicago IL, US
Whitney LOUBIER - Mt. Pleasant SC, US
Shibin MATHEW - Ladson SC, US
Wei MI - Summerville SC, US
Andrew PINION - Ladson SC, US
International Classification:
B66C 15/04
B66C 17/04
Abstract:
Systems and methods for object guidance and collision avoidance are provided. One system includes a location sensor disposed on a movable crane. The system also includes a plurality of sensors disposed on a plurality of objects within a facility. The system further includes a controller having a receiver for monitoring signals transmitted from the location sensor disposed on a movable crane and the plurality of sensors disposed on a plurality of objects within the facility. The controller is configured to generate a travel path for the movable crane to move an object coupled with the movable crane based on the one or more intersection regions and generate an output signal to an alarm device to provide an alert, when at least one object of the plurality of objects is within a predetermined proximity of at least the object being moved by the crane.

Systems And Methods For Monitoring Maintenance Intervals

View page
US Patent:
20170301211, Oct 19, 2017
Filed:
Apr 15, 2016
Appl. No.:
15/099696
Inventors:
- Chicago IL, US
Andrew J. Pinion - Ladson SC, US
Whitney Michelle Loubier - Mount Pleasant SC, US
Matthew Pistorius - Mount Pleasant SC, US
Shibin Mathew - Ladson SC, US
Wei Mi - Summerville SC, US
Benjamin Q. Bodenmiller - Seattle WA, US
International Classification:
G08B 21/18
G08B 21/18
B64F 5/00
Abstract:
A system for monitoring maintenance for manufacturing apparatuses in a facility is provided. The system includes at least one manufacturing apparatus, the manufacturing apparatus including an RF identification tag and a module, and a control system. The control system is configured to receive, from the module, operational status information that indicates time periods during which the manufacturing apparatus is in operation, determine a cumulative time duration of operation for the manufacturing apparatus, retrieve a predetermined maintenance interval for the manufacturing apparatus, determine whether the cumulative time duration of operation exceeds the predetermined maintenance interval, and in response to a determination that the cumulative time duration of operation exceeds the predetermined maintenance interval, i) output a signal that causes the manufacturing apparatus to discontinue operation, and ii) cause instructions for completing a required maintenance procedure to be displayed on a display device in communication with the control system.
