Graphical User Interface For A Database System

View page
US Patent:
20230070791, Mar 9, 2023
Filed:
Sep 1, 2022
Appl. No.:
17/929218
Inventors:
- Palo Alto CA, US
Radu-Andrei Szasz - London, GB
Walker Burgin - Seattle WA, US
Zhen Dai - Brooklyn NY, US
International Classification:
G06F 16/332
G06F 3/048
G06F 16/48
G06F 16/33
G06F 16/2457
Abstract:
Systems and methods are provided for improved interactive graphical user interfaces. The system allows users to visually construct queries of a database. The system can dynamically generate visual representations of supplemental data and cumulative data. Users can share annotations related to user input queries via the graphical user interface.

US Patent:
20210089181, Mar 25, 2021
Filed:
Nov 16, 2020
Appl. No.:
17/099548
Inventors:
- Denver CO, US
Aditya Dahiya - Brooklyn NY, US
Andrew Elder - New York NY, US
Daniel Cervelli - Mountain View CA, US
Joseph Rafidi - Mountain View CA, US
Matthew Bango - Redwood City CA, US
Parvathy Menon - San Jose CA, US
Roger Chen - Menlo Park CA, US
Timothy Slatcher - Menlo Park CA, US
Walker Burgin - Seattle WA, US
International Classification:
G06F 3/0486
G06F 3/0481
G06F 9/451
Abstract:
Systems and methods are provided for improved graphical user interfaces. The system enables multiple separate applications, each of which may typically be in their own separate window or tab, to be interacted within a single window, such as a tab of a web browser application. The main window includes smaller sub-windows that can correspond to a distinct application with its own graphical user interface. A large sub-window within the main window is opened for the primary application where the user is currently interacting with a graphical user interface of the primary application. The user then is able to switch between applications (all within the same main window) and applications that are no longer being used can be minimized in smaller sub-windows off to the side of the primary sub-window. The system enables a user to drag and drop an item from one sub-window to another sub-window. Some of the interactions between the windows and data transformations are stored and can be visually presented in a graph.

International Classification:
G06F 9/445
G06F 8/54
G06F 9/451
Abstract:
Systems and methods for developing one or more applications associated with a browser-based user interface within a multi-developer computing platform employ one or more processors that receive a request to build one or more applications configured to run in a browser-based user interface on a client; determine whether the one or more applications are associated with a core library and one or more runtime libraries; and in response to determining that the one or more applications are associated with the core library and the one or more runtime libraries: determine one or more version numbers associated with the one or more runtime libraries; and in response to the determined one or more version numbers being within a predetermined range associated with the core library, dynamically link the one or more runtime libraries and the one or more applications.

May 26, 2020
Appl. No.:
16/883627
Inventors:
- Palo Alto CA, US
Andrew Moreland - San Francisco CA, US
Alexander Taheri - Madison CT, US
Benjamin Hamme - San Francisco CA, US
John Carrino - Redwood City CA, US
Dzmitry Dulko - San Jose CA, US
Gabrielle Javitt - New York NY, US

Joshua Chomicki - San Jose CA, US
Josh Munsch - San Francisco CA, US
Jacob Sanches - Oakland CA, US
Mark Schafer - New York NY, US
Walker Burgin - Seattle WA, US
Xiaohan Zhang - Sunnyvale CA, US
International Classification:
G06F 16/26
G06F 16/23
G06F 16/248
Abstract:
Systems and methods are provided for generating reports reflecting a visualization of, e.g., a dataset on which data analysis has been performed. The data analysis performed on the dataset may be an aggregation of data analysis functionality provided by applications or tools. Dataset visualization is realized in a workspace implemented by a separate application or tool. Potential conflicts regarding updating one or more elements of the dataset are reconciled by implementing a dual operational transform system and method. A global state of the dataset may be determined by a first operational transform system and method, while a local state of the dataset may be determined by a second operational transform system and method. The local state of the dataset may be updated through operational transforms exchanged between the first and second operational transform systems that align the local state of the dataset with the global state of the dataset.

International Classification:
G06F 3/0484
G06F 3/0482
G06F 17/30
Abstract:
The systems and methods described herein provide highly dynamic and interactive data analysis user interfaces which enable data analysts to quickly and efficiently explore large volume data sources. The data analysis system enables the user to investigate large volumes of data over many different paths of analysis while maintaining detailed and retraceable steps taken by the user over the course of an investigation, as captured via the user's queries and user interaction with the user interfaces provided by the data analysis system. Data analysis paths may involve exploration of high volume data sets, such as Internet proxy data, which may include trillions of rows of data. The data analyst may pursue a data analysis path that involves, among other things, applying filters, joining to other tables in a database, viewing interactive data visualizations, and so on. The data analysis system enables a user to refresh or insert a node in a workflow. The data analysis system further provides data editing, reporting, enrichment, expression language, and charting functionality.
