Marshall/Chavez/Means Scholarship
Worchester Polytechnic Institute
Established to recognize the academic achievements and leadership skills of African-American, Latino-American and American Indian students, this merit scholarship program is named in honor of Thurgood Marshall, Cesar Chavez, and Russell Means, all of whom made significant contributions to their communities and to American society. These competitive scholarships will be awarded by the Admissions Committee based upon the applicant's academic performance in high school, standardized test scores or Flex Path submission, leadership, extracurricular involvement and community service. These academic merit scholarships vary in amounts, but typically range between $10,000 and $25,000, and are renewable for four years.
