View page
US Patent:
20090119131, May 7, 2009
Filed:
Nov 3, 2008
Appl. No.:
12/263988
Inventors:
Steven M. Hacker - Delray Beach FL, US
International Classification:
G06Q 40/00
G06Q 50/00
US Classification:
705 3, 705 4
Abstract:
A personal health record is maintained by receiving a document having information thereon corresponding to the purchase of healthcare. The document is transmitted to a server by generating an identification code associated with a personal health record stored at the server and affixing it to the transmitted document. The transmitted document is stored as part of the personal health record. Relevant data is extracted from the document and used to populate the personal health record for updating.

System And Method For Visual Verification Of Secure Closure Of Collection Bottle Through Chemiluminescence

View page
US Patent:
20200398273, Dec 24, 2020
Filed:
Jun 23, 2019
Appl. No.:
16/449399
Inventors:
- Delray Beach FL, US
Steven M. Hacker - Delray Beach FL, US
Assignee:
Nano 2.0 Business Press, LLC - Delray Beach FL
International Classification:
B01L 3/00
B01F 11/00
G01N 21/76
Abstract:
A collection bottle that emits light once the lid of the bottle is rotated to its complete closed position is disclosed. An annular chamber concentric to the inner chamber of the collection bottle contains a dye such as fluorophor, a base catalyst, and diphenyl oxalate. A containment device is disposed in the annular chamber. The containment device holds one or more glass or other fragile material encasing vials containing hydrogen peroxide. The containment device is disposed in the vicinity of the bottle screw threads such that when the lid is completely screwed onto the collection bottle, a detent that is disposed above the superior lid screw thread compresses the exterior wall of the annular chamber and containment device, causing rupture of the vial(s) and allowing the hydrogen peroxide disposed therein to mix with the dye, base catalyst and diphenyl oxalate in the annular chamber. The subsequent chemical reaction causes the emission of light, visually indicating full closure of the lid on the collection bottle.

US Patent:
20200038049, Feb 6, 2020
Filed:
Feb 17, 2018
Appl. No.:
15/898511
Inventors:
- Delray Beach FL, US
Steven M. Hacker - Delray Beach FL, US
Assignee:
Nano 2.0 Business Press, LLC - Delray Beach FL
International Classification:
A61B 17/3211
A61B 17/32
Abstract:
An assembly comprising a structural element with a bayonet having a universal blade fitting inserted into the interior of a tube and an electrical source pod is disclosed. The tube is releasably attached to a handle and a blade is attached to the universal blade fitting to form a terminal configuration, such as a surgical scalpel. The support element provides stability and support for pressure placed on the blade to minimize or prevent breakage of the bayonet during cutting. The support element also provides a lever support and function for the tube it is attached to and the handle that attaches to it. Finally, the support element also serves as a guide rail for all assembly components to adhere to and along upon assembly of all components such as tube, electrical source pod and battery cartridge.

Electromagnetic Resonant Surgical Scalpel Handle And Electromagnetic Sensor System Apparatus Thereof

View page
US Patent:
20170086925, Mar 30, 2017
Filed:
Sep 30, 2015
Appl. No.:
14/870046
Inventors:
Steven M. Hacker - Delray Beach FL, US
International Classification:
A61B 34/20
G01L 5/00
G01L 1/16
A61B 17/3211
Abstract:
A surgical scalpel handle with an internal chamber and a removable electromagnetic resonance signal generating cartridge and an electromagnetic resonance sensor system is disclosed. A surgical scalpel handle is provided for with an internal chamber comprised of two pieces, a front piece with a blade holder and a back piece and when attached, the front end section and the back end section together comprise an internal cavity. An electromagnetic resonance signal generating cartridge comprising one or more printed circuit boards (PCB) are in electrical contact upon which an application specific integrated circuit (ASIC) are mounted and having a magnet; a coil; and capacitor resonant circuit; an elastic member; a pressure sensitive feature; and having power source connections, and a removable power source having power source contacts; and power source connections complete the electrical contact between the electromagnetic signal generating cartridge and the removable power source housed in the internal cavity. An electromagnetic signal generating cartridge is disposed of in an internal cavity of a scalpel handle and generates an electromagnetic resonance signal. An electromagnetic sensor system apparatus with a sensor system disposed of vertical and horizontal planes is disclosed and is disposed of on a surgical table. The scalpel handle with an internal cavity and removable signal generating cartridge and with the electromagnetic sensor system apparatus with a sensor system can be used to digitally map the precise position, size, trajectory, shape, pressure and angle of the scalpel being used during surgical procedures. A pressure sensitive feature is disposed and in connection with the blade holder and the removable signal generating cartridge. The pressure exerted by a surgeon on the blade is transmitted through a blade holder to a pressure sensitive feature to switch from the stand by position of the cartridge to the on and generate an electromagnetic signal position. The emitted signals generated by the cartridge can be read by the provided for electromagnetic resonance sensor system to generate a digital record of coordinates in the x, y location in a horizontal plane and vertical plane as well as a digital record of trajectory of scalpel used during the procedure. The coordinates are stored in a memory device such as a RAM, tablet or computer. After communicating with a host machine, a monitor can display the surgeon's trace and exact location coordinates.

Surgical Scalpel Handle Assembly System And Method For Requiring A Verification Process Performed Prior To And During Surgery Using Actuators To Unlock And Engage Blade Holder In Ready For Cutting Position

View page
US Patent:
20150150579, Jun 4, 2015
Filed:
Nov 13, 2013
Appl. No.:
14/078559
Inventors:
Steven M. Hacker - Delray Beach FL, US
International Classification:
A61B 17/3211
F16B 3/00
A61B 19/00
Abstract:
A surgical scalpel handle assembly system and method that requires a surgeon to actively perform a verification process known as a “time out” verification process but specifically requires sequentially moving a series of actuator knobs on a scalpel handle upon affirming each criterion embedded in the scalpel handle. The required sequential confirmation of each criterion unlocks and ejects a blade holder from a scalpel handle to a position fully engaged and ready for blade attachment, surgery and in cutting position. The assembly system and method includes exposed visual indicia on the handle that indicates red color in stand by pre-operative position and indicates green exposed visual indices upon affirming verification of “time out” criteria and thus triggering the deployment of a fully exposed, engaged, and in a ready for surgery for blade attachment in handle.

Surgical Scalpel Handle With Illuminator

View page
US Patent:
20150119650, Apr 30, 2015
Filed:
Oct 24, 2013
Appl. No.:
14/061777
Inventors:
Steven M. Hacker - Delray Beach FL, US
International Classification:
A61B 17/3211
A61B 1/06
US Classification:
600249
Abstract:
This invention relates to a surgical scalpel handle with illuminator allowing the surgeon to use the illumination to light the surgical field while holding the scalpel handle. A surgical scalpel handle with an illuminator comprises a scalpel handle that contains, a structural strut, that serves to attach light emitting diode (LED) cartridge with strut terminating into a bayonet fitting attachment for the blade element; and a light emitting diode (LED) cartridge with a series of light emitting diodes embedded in the cartridge. The a LED cartridge is attached to the scalpel handle by sliding the bayonet fitting of the strut through the central axis of the light emitting diode cartridge and then by screwing LED cartridge onto the strut in order to attach to scalpel handle and expose at least a part of the cartridge.

System And Method For Doctors To Dynamically Measure Physician Influence On Patient Consumerism To Optimize Profitability On Sales Of Non Prescription Medically Unnecessary Products And Services
