Abstract:
A method for imaging based on a position of an image acquisition device is presented. The method includes obtaining a first desired image data set representative of a first desired image, where the first desired image data set is acquired at a first position of the image acquisition device. Further, the method includes recording positional information corresponding to the first position of the image acquisition device. In addition, the method includes obtaining a second desired image data set representative of a second desired image, where the second desired image data set is acquired at a second position of an image acquisition device. The method also includes recording positional information corresponding to the second position of the image acquisition device. Moreover, the method includes acquiring image data between the first position and the second position of the image acquisition device. Systems and computer-readable medium that afford functionality of the type defined by this method is also contemplated in conjunction with the present technique.

Abstract:
Contrast-enhancing agents enhance 3D and/or 4D ultrasound imagery, by which ultrasound machines acquire ultrasound image data and processors convert the ultrasound image data into contrast-enhanced 3D and/or 4D images using the contrast-enhancing agents. Various other embodiments may also include CTI processors, which can be adapted to generate CTI image data, and/or TIC processors, which can be adapted to generate TIC image data. Systems, methods, and computer-readable storage medium including a set of instructions for a computer are disclosed.
