Abstract:
A vehicle having an adjustable seating assembly and related method. One member of the seating assembly may be adjusted to provide a backrest to a straddle type seat of the vehicle. As such, when a carrier bed having an accessory platform is located rearward of the straddle type seat, the one member may optionally be used to provide a wall portion of the carrier bed. The one member may also be adjusted to provide an extension to the straddle type seat. As such, when an accessory platform is located rearward of the straddle type seat, the one member may optionally be used to at least partially cover a segment of the accessory platform. When an accessory platform is located rearward of the straddle type seat, an additional member of the seating assembly may be adjusted to provide a backrest to one or more of the straddle type seat or an extended straddle type seat. The additional member may also be adjusted to form a segment of the accessory platform.

An ATV is disclosed which includes a pedestal assembly incorporated into the foot-wells, which cooperate with a removable passenger seat. Furthermore, passenger seat is selectively added or removed from ATV by way of a latch assembly. Hand grips flank the removable seat and are attached to a rear accessory panel. Abstract:
A vehicle is described having a transmission driven through a propulsion unit such as an engine, and through a CVT. The transmission is comprised of an input shaft and an output shaft which are coaxially disposed. An idler shaft is driven by the input shaft, and the idler shaft drives the output shaft, through selected gear sets, to provide different gear ratios or drive directions. The CVT also has a fan on the driven side which feeds air through the CVT for cooling. The CVT comprises a drive side clutch and a driven side clutch with the output shaft of the extending through the CVT driven clutch.

An all-terrain vehicle includes a plurality of ground-engaging members and a frame supported by the plurality of ground-engaging members and having a front end and a rear end. The all-terrain vehicle further includes a straddle seat coupled to the frame and an attachment rack supported by the frame.
