Abstract:
Disclosed is a fastener for use on or with a pair of crutches; crutches joined through use of the fastener form a self-stable geometry which permits the crutches to stand without support. The fastener is inexpensive, easy to use, and may be included on or with a wide range of different crutch types. Crutches so equipped provide benefits to users, who find it easier to store crutches without having to lay the crutches down.
