A story I spent countless hours working on, won first-place for an In-Depth Series. I spoke exclusively to off-shore workers who survived after spending four days in the Gulf of Mexico during Tropical Storm Nate in 2011. The men lost two of the best-friends while lost at sea. It was a very touching story that I felt very honored to tell.
