This invention provides improved lightweight reinforced roll-up door panels () The improvement includes: the panel being formed of an extruded plastic material, such as EX75 Resin ABS, and having upper and lower longitudinal edges (); the panel having an outer skin () and an inner skin () spaced from said outer skin; at least one pocket () positioned between the skins; and an insert () positioned within the pocket. The present invention broadly provides a theft-resistant guard () for a roll-up door lock mechanism (). The improvement broadly comprises: the guard () being non-removably mounted on the lock mechanism () for movement with the handle (). Abstract:
The present invention provides an improved hold-open device () for holding a roll-up door () in an overhead out-of-the-way position in a body, the door being mounted for movement within a track () having a vertical portion (), an arcuate portion () and a horizontal portion (). The improved device broadly includes: a plate () mounted on one of the track and cargo body; an arm () pivotally mounted on the plate; a striker () mounted on the door, the striker having an inclined surface () and an abutment surface (); a stop () mounted on the arm, the stop having an edge () adapted to selectively engage the striker surfaces; and at least one spring () urging the arm to move such that the edge will engage one of the striker surfaces.

Abstract:
An improved roll-up door assembly () is configured to be coupled to a storage container, such as a truck trailer (), and broadly comprises: a roll-up door including a plurality of door panels (A-G), of which adjacent panels are hingedly coupled to one another; a hinge () having an first hinge plate () coupled directly to a bottom panel (A) of the door, having a second hinge plate (), and having a hinge joint () pivotally coupling the first and second hinge plates to one another for enabling relative movement therebetween; a bottom roller () coupled to the second hinge plate for movement therewith about the joint; a counterbalance mechanism mounted on the storage container; a cable () connecting the counterbalance mechanism to the bottom door panel; and a snubber () surrounding the cable and adapted to engage the counterbalance mechanism when the bottom door panel is moved toward the counterbalance mechanism.
