Lara founded Lpdeezign & Marketing in April of 2009, branching off from the corporate real estate industry, as an online marketing and design consultant. She managed to create a niche in the real estate industry working for several real estate agents and The Ritz Carlton Residences development, on Chicago’s Magnificent Mile. She currently is working as an online marketing consultant for Baird & Warner’s corporate office, helping with search engine optimization, social media marketing and blogging strategies. She also has focused on her career in the music and entertainment industries, designing everything from cd covers to websites, marketing everything from blogs to even branding and planning release parties/events. She founded Chicago Hip Hop Connects, an organization focusing on bringing all industry professionals together under a membership program that holds music conferences, festivals, events and shows to continue to develop the music professionals of Chicago. She has managed to get their website to page 1 on Google for the keyword “Chicago Hip Hop.” She also joined Gowhere Hip Hop, the #1 Chicago Hip Hop Blog as a blog contributor, where she interviews and helps manage the company brand. She has worked with/interviewed several notable hip hop artists including: Jeremih, Twista, Jim Jones, Lee England Jr., Hurricane Chris,The GS Boyz, Da Internz, Will Taylor (from Day 26), Nikki Lynette, YP, Skooda Chose, Keri Hilson, Miller Street Studios, and many more.
