Abstract:
Proteins are identified that exhibit an altered expression in mammalian cardiac tissue in response to Aagonist infusion. These proteins are termed Areceptor-mediated cardioprotective proteins (APs) and protein isoforms (APIs) and are useful as pharmaceuticals and as targets in screening methods for identifying an agent capable of modulating the expression of one or more AP and/or API.
