BS, Electrical EngineeringThe VMI experience is a unique and demanding blend of challenges designed to fully test and expand the capabilities of each cadet. VMI combines the studies of a comprehensive college curriculum within a framework of military discipline and physical development that emphasizes honor, integrity and responsibility. Each cadet is encouraged to reach beyond existing, often self-imposed limits in academic, military and athletic activities to fully prepare themselves for the requirements of civilian or military life. The hallmark of the VMI experience is the individual attention given to each cadet's progress in every endeavor, born of a low student to faculty ratio. The VMI cadet also develops a strong sense of brotherhood with his fellow cadets due to the close-knit barracks lifestyle. From this experience the VMI cadet graduates with lifelong bonds, well-equipped to handle the rigors of the world in the 21st century.
