Abstract:
A method and apparatus for reinforcing and stabilizing a structure formed of stacked blocks, such as a pier used in a building's foundation. The method and apparatus employ brackets to bracket the edges of the structure and transiting members to transit the body of the structure. Stabilizing members engage with the transiting members. The stabilizing members are then tightened against the brackets thereby compressing, reinforcing and stabilizing the structure.
