Dual Assay For Evaluating Activity And Cytotoxicity Of Compounds In The Same Population Of Cells

View page
US Patent:
20050112551, May 26, 2005
Filed:
Nov 24, 2003
Appl. No.:
10/721405
Inventors:
Wade Blair - San Marcos CA, US
Joan Cao - Carlsbad CA, US
Jason Isaacson - San Diego CA, US
Amy Patick - Escondido CA, US
International Classification:
C12Q001/70
C12Q001/68
C12N015/867
C12N015/87
US Classification:
435005000, 435006000, 435455000, 435456000
Abstract:
Methods are provided for evaluating the activity and cytoxicity of a compound in the same population of cells. These dual activity/cytoxicity methods are amenable for use in a high-throughput format. Also provided are humanized luciferase genes useful for the dual activity/cytoxicity assays and for use in a variety of reporter constructs.
