Reversible Spindle For Lawnmower

View page
US Patent:
20020194830, Dec 26, 2002
Filed:
Jun 22, 2001
Appl. No.:
09/887506
Inventors:
Jimmy Eavenson - Aurora OH, US
Gary Hobrath - Brunswick OH, US
Jim Cykon - Warren OH, US
International Classification:
A01D067/00
US Classification:
056/320100
Abstract:
There is provided a mower having a mower deck wherein is received a spindle. The spindle includes a body and a shaft that longitudinally extends beyond the body. The shaft is adapted to receive a cutting blade at either end of the shaft. The shaft is also adapted to receive a pulley at either end of the shaft, wherein the pulley is opposite the cutting blade. The spindle further includes two shields, each received by an opposite end of the shaft. In this manner, the spindle is adapted to be invertibly mounted between first and second positions to multiple mower decks having different cutting height requirements. The body also includes a flange portion having a plurality of sets of mounting holes fashioned therein. The sets of mounting holes are disposed at different radii about the flange for mounting the spindle into different mower decks having different mounting hole patterns.

Tiller Tine Mower

View page
US Patent:
20030019198, Jan 30, 2003
Filed:
Jul 24, 2001
Appl. No.:
09/912108
Inventors:
Jimmy Eavenson - Aurora OH, US
Assignee:
Commercial Turf Products, LTD. - Streetsboro OH
International Classification:
A01D034/64
US Classification:
056/016700
Abstract:
A ground engaging vegetation mower has a mower deck with a horizontally mounted blade shaft. Cutting blades, having a U-shaped cross section, are mounted symmetrically about the blade shaft for rotation therewith. The cutting blades rotate within sufficient proximity to the mower deck housing so as to provide scissor-like cutting action of the vegetation. The mounting of the cutting blades on the shaft is such that contact with an obstruction causes the cutting blades to slip about the blade shaft. A plurality of cutting blades can be selectively attached to the blade shaft to adjust the cutting width of the mower deck.

Floating Deck Material Collection System

International Classification:
A01D034/71
US Classification:
056/202000, 056/194000, 056/320200
Abstract:
A lawn care device comprises a main frame having at least two wheels attached thereto for engaging an associated underlying surface. A mower deck is operatively connected to the main frame. A power means is operatively mounted to the main frame. A non-mower deck implement operatively connects to the main frame. The non-mower deck implement is adapted to follow the contour of the underlying surface. More specifically, the non-mower deck implement is a ground following implement or a floating implement.

Tank For A Sprayer System

View page
US Patent:
20030116644, Jun 26, 2003
Filed:
Dec 20, 2001
Appl. No.:
10/027108
Inventors:
Peter Thompson - North Olmstead OH, US
Jimmy Eavenson - Aurora OH, US
Michael Utz - Streetsboro OH, US
International Classification:
E01C019/16
US Classification:
