Ask Janita about working with Buyers and Sellers and she is quick to share her view of the real estate profession: “My philosophy is ‘Service, Before Sales,’ says Janita, a former national reporter for the Atlanta Journal Constitution and Chicago Tribune who joined Atlanta Intown in the summer of 2007. “Unlike the agent who only wants to ‘close the deal,’ I am skilled at giving my clients what they need. If they are buyers, I find them the best home on the market that fits their criteria. If they are sellers, I aggressively market their home to the largest audience of serious buyers in the community.” Before joining Atlanta Intown, Janita worked for more than three years as a Realtor with The Zac Team, RE/MAX Greater Atlanta Intown. She completed the Barney Fletcher Real Estate Pre-License Course in 2001 and earned the Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR) designation in 2006. Janita grew up in the Cascade Heights community of Atlanta and graduated from Woodward Academy College Preparatory High School in 1981. She earned her bachelor’s degree in communications with a double minor in French and English from Florida State University in 1985 and her master’s in journalism 1987 from The University of Georgia.

I am an experienced intown Atlanta Realtor who specializes in Buyer Agency (I work full-time to help home buyers find the perfect home, negotiate a strong contract, obtain a good inspection and appraisal and close with a top Atlanta attorney).
All of my fees are paid by the Seller at closing.
