Used Water Removal System For A Portable, Hand-Wash Sink Station

View page
US Patent:
7730561, Jun 8, 2010
Filed:
Feb 28, 2006
Appl. No.:
11/365893
Inventors:
Jamie Phillip Kostelyk - Hammond IN, US
Assignee:
PolyJohn Enterprises Corporation - Whiting IN
International Classification:
A47K 1/00
US Classification:
4625
Abstract:
A used water removal system for a stand-alone hand-wash sink station having a vertically elongated used water storage tank and within which a vertically elongated, fresh water tank is positioned. A sink basin disposed above the used water storage tank drains used water into the used water storage tank. A water line conveys water from the fresh water tank to a faucet located above the sink basin. An inverted, vertically elongated, U-shaped tube is arranged within the station alongside the fresh water tank. One end of the tube opens into the used water storage tank near its lower end. The second end of the tube opens to the outside of the station. The curved bight of the tube is located at a height that is above the maximum height of the used water within the used water storage tank. Water may be rapidly removed from the tank by temporarily applying suction to the second end of the tube to siphon used water through the tube and out of the used water storage tank.

US Patent:
7837060, Nov 23, 2010
Filed:
Feb 6, 2007
Appl. No.:
11/671705
Inventors:
Rodney M. Mullett - Hammond IN, US
Jamie P. Kostelyk - Hammond IN, US
Assignee:
PolyJohn Enterprises Corporation - Whiting IN
International Classification:

US Classification:
221132, 221120, 221124, 221 92, 221 96, 221 97
Abstract:
A standalone portable dispenser assembly for sanitary items includes a base portion that provides resistance to the dispenser assembly against being tipped from an upright condition, an extension portion extending upwardly from the base portion, an upper cover portion attached to the extension portion above the base portion and a dispensing unit below the upper cover portion. One or more dispensing devices are disposed upon or within the dispensing unit for dispensing at least one sanitary item, such as hand towels and liquid hand soaps. US Patent:
8091157, Jan 10, 2012
Filed:
Feb 25, 2009
Appl. No.:
12/393026
Inventors:
Daniel G. Tyler - Crown Point IN, US
Jamie P. Kostelyk - Hammond IN, US
Jacob H. Shubinski - Berwyn IL, US
Rodney M. Mullett - Hammond IN, US
Assignee:
PolyJohn Enterprises Corporation - Whiting IN
International Classification:
A47K 11/04
US Classification:
4477, 4479, 52 791, 522822, 522823
Abstract:
A modular portable cabana-type restroom includes a roof, base platform, foot portions, side wall panels, a back wall panel, four corner portions and a door. The side wall panels and back wall panel are provided with vertically-disposed hooks for interlocking with complementary slots along the edges of the corner portions. The roof is provided with clips for engaging the corner portions. This permits convenient interlocking removable assembly of the wall panels, corner portions and roof without the use of mechanical fasteners, such as rivets, screws or nuts and bolts. Recesses in the foot portions accept the insertion of the corner portions and corners of the base portion, which are then secured together through formed apertures using a minimum number of mechanical fasteners. This provides for easy assembly and disassembly of the restroom for transport, repair and storage.

Portable Restroom Toilet Chemical Charging System

View page
US Patent:
20050241055, Nov 3, 2005
Filed:
Apr 29, 2004
Appl. No.:
10/835213
Inventors:
Rodney Mullett - Hammond IN, US
Michael Cooper - Palos Park IL, US
Jamie Kostelyk - Hammond IN, US
International Classification:
E03D001/00
A47K011/04
US Classification:
004476000
Abstract:
A portable toilet chemical additive charging system comprises a restroom cabana containing a toilet bowl which opens into a waste-holding tank. A water source, such as a separate water tank, is connected by a conduit to the toilet bowl for delivering flush water to the bowl when a flush pump, that is connected to the conduit, is actuated. The flush water passes through a control valve in the conduit. A chemical additive container is removably positioned near the toilet bowl and is connected by a tube to the control valve. The control valve injects a pre-determined amount of additive to the flush water when flush water is flowed through the control valve to the bowl. Preferably, the container is shaped to closely fit within a space between a vent pipe extending upwardly from the waste-holding tank and the adjacent interior surface of a wall of the cabana. A portion of the container is substantially transparent and exposed so that an observer may view the level of additive content in the container, while the remainder of the container is substantially concealed by the vent pipe.
