District Court, Northern District of Georgia, alleging subsidiaries of Associates First Capital, largest U. S. subprime mortgage lender, unlawfully sold credit life insurance in a predatory lending scheme in violation of Georgia's Insurance Code and Georgia's Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) statute, benefited 1500 Georgia borrowers, paid cash benefits, and contributed to nationwide industry reforms.
