Abstract:
A flushing system for air conditioning drainage pipes including a pipe assembly, a valve for selectively blocking the pass of the upstream drain line and a connection for a pressurized fluid supply. Each of the pipe assembly ends has a slidable tubular member cooperatively larger in diameter than said pipe assembly and drain line to snugly receive the ends of the pipe assembly. The tubular members are slid partially over the drain line ends and the ends of the pipe assembly. An alternate embodiment uses cooperating threads on the ends of the pipe assembly and one of the ends of the slidable tubular members. To flush the system with a fluid (liquid or gas), a user closes the valve assembly by rotating the ball valve member and applies the pressurized fluid to flush the system. Also, O-rings are used to enhance the sealing engagement in yet another embodiment.

Abstract:
A slide coupling fitting for connecting a tubular conduit and the method of use are provided. The fitting includes a tubular body, two opposing open ends, and an external threaded section on an exterior of the tubular body adjacent to each open end; and two tubular sliding couplers, each having an internal diameter slightly larger than an external diameter of the tubular body, and each being connected to one of the open ends of the tubular body, respectively, and coaxial with the tubular body. Each tubular sliding coupler has an internal threaded section adjacent to an inner end which is closer to a longitudinal center of the tubular body, and a smooth interior at an opposing outer end for slidably engaging a tubular conduit. The internal threaded section is complementary to the external threaded section of the tubular body for mutual engagement.

Abstract:
A liquid level sensor apparatus for monitoring the drain line of condensate from an air handler of a refrigeration system senses the presence of backup liquid in a vertical pipe in the drain system. A closure of the upper end of the pipe supports a magnetic switch assembly down in the pipe. A float with magnet surrounds the switch. When water in the pipe raises the float to a fixed distance below the closure, the magnet opens the switch circuit to control the air conditioning system. A vent in the closure permits air in the pipe to escape as the water rises in the pipe. Optical and sonic alarms may be included.

An assembly mounts between the drain pan that collects condensate water from an air conditioner and the drain line. It includes a housing with a first end connected to the pan. A second end connects to the drain line. A shut off valve shuts off the passage to the pan while maintenance is performed. A connector is mounted on the housing between the valve and the second end. It is a female member of a quick-connect coupling. A male member of the coupling may be plugged in with a single motion to seal it in place. Male members have different terminations, including a barbed tube for resilient tubing, a compressed air tire valve for delivering gas, a female water hose coupling, a tapered funnel for the nozzle of vacuum/blower, and a water sensor.

Abstract:
Apparatus applies chemicals to condensate water from an air conditioning condensate tray. It has an elongate body and a central cavity enclosed by an encircling wall. The central cavity receives chemicals to prevent the growth of microorganisms. A first tubular member is operatively connected at a first end to an aperture in the wall, and a second end extending outwardly for receiving condensate water from the condensate tray. A second tubular member is operatively connected to a second aperture in the wall opposite the first aperture aligned with the first member so that a cleaning brush may be passed through both members and into the condensate tray. Below the two tubular members a fluid outlet is provided with a connector for joining to a drainage system for draining the chemically treated condensate water from the cavity.
