Buying a home is like fulfilling a fairy tale. As an Avery Hess Realtor in the Fredericksburg and surrounding areas, I have a few of my own fairy tales to share. I was born and raised in Southwest Louisiana. In 1993 I left my family and friends to attend college in Murfressboro, TN. I was off to pursue a degree in the field of my dreams, Recording Industry Management. After graduation in 1998, I lived out my first fairy tale while working in Nashville, TN for two highly respected Artist Management firms. It was on February 5, 2000 that I met my best friend for life on a vacation cruise, unbeknownst to me that my second fairy tale was unfolding. I moved to Northern Virginia to be closer to my best friend. In 2001, I began a new career in Intellectual Property Law. My last move was to Fredericksburg in 2002, which was one of the best moves I ever made. Since that time, my best friend became my husband. I gave birth to our beautiful daughter. I also left my 9 year career in IP law to start on my third fairy tale dream. I became a REALTOR, and ILOVEIT! And who says fairy tales don't come true?? After working with famous artists, supporting attorneys, and training secretarial staff, I became a coach, mentor and confident which led to understanding people's needs and frustrations on all levels. I have a love of solving problems. I've learned to put those skills to use in helping my clients solve their real estate problems. My technology background ensures my clients that the latest Internet marketing tools will be used to expose their properties to the widest possible range of qualified buyers. With the use of the internet, I can also help my clients get instant access to new homes just listed for sale or rent. I was raised with a strong work ethic and was taught to treat everyone with the same caring, honesty, and integrity that I would only expect for myself. I believe in having core values when it comes to one's life. My core values are God, family and career. Without God I would not have a career consisting of great clients to add to my family.
