About:
Real estate broker in two states (Wisconsin & Minnesota), real estate educator and trainer, experience as a course creator for organizations including Wisconsin Realtors Association, Minneapolis Area Association of Realtors, LuxuryRealEstate.com and others. My experience as a real estate educator since 2005 includes the creation of several customized courses on technology. I have also taught Fair Housing, Ethics, Diversity and technology courses in both Minnesota and Wisconsin. Was the first instructor to offer the "At Home With Diversity" course at WRA in April of 2010 and was also Wisconsin's first NAR-certified AHWD trainer. I serve on the Wisconsin Realtors Association Equal Opportunity in Housing committee and the National Association of Realtors Equal Opportunity - Cultural Diversity committee. At the 2010 NAR Midyear conferences in Washington, D.C., I was a moderator for the NAR Equal Opportunity Forum. I am currently Education Chair for the Wisconsin CRS Chapter. In January 2010, I was featured in "The Residential Specialist" magazine (published by the Council of Residential Specialists) in an article about promoting the CRS designation. In March of 2010, I was again featured in the same publication, in an article about the "State of the Market" for the Minneapolis -Saint Paul metropolitan area. In the July issue of Realtor Magazine, I was featured in an article by Editor-in-Chief Stacey Moncrieff about my work on an effort to amend the Realtor Code of Ethics to include LGBT consumers as a protected class. In June of 2010, I was invited by Michigan Representative John Conyers (U.S. House Committee on the Judiciary) to meet with members of the Judiciary Committee legal staff to discuss a proposed amendment to the Fair Housing Act.
