Abstract:
Multifunction apparatus for telecommunications that includes two hard disks or two separated partitions of one hard disk, expansion cards for web connection, tv tuner and decoder for receiving radio and television programs, remote control where a first OS for the multimedia functions on the first partition or hard disk, that both the first and the second Partition or hard disk are controlled with the same remote control, that the first OS has hardware and software restrictions and that it cannot be modified by the user or replaced and that the second operating system does not have restrictions and can be modified or replaced by the user, that this multifunction apparatus also contains a removable and rechargeable battery. The same apparatus can be used for a system for the management of the sale of on-demand content, utilizing three servers and two separated keys where one is an access key and one is decryptation key, as it can implement a security system.

Abstract:
A multi wide area network (WAN) media content router, remotely controlled, and located from client reception stations, that enables video stream and multimedia content reception from terrestrial, satellite, internet protocol (IP) sources, 3G, and 4G. The router receives a plurality of direct transport streams from these different transmission media types without compression and routes these signals based upon predetermined protocol. Abstract:
This invention relates to an improved design associated with an album whose appearance evidences that of prebound construction and the method for the fabricating thereof such that there is able to be created an album of as many pages as desired, each page capable of being interlocked by means of an interconnecting spinal component affixed as part of each and every page such that upon the interconnecting of said spinal members of each and every page, there is achieved the appearance of a prebound album along with having the structural integrity of same but which has in fact the capability of being selectively assembled to any desired number of pages. Additionally, each page is constructed so as to permit the insertion on to each surface thereof an item to be displayed, be it a picture, or otherwise, such that there is achieved as an overall appearance as to each and every page an aesthetically appealing display along with a consistently uniform flat surface. Consistent with the invention is the capability of having an album additionally comprise a front and a back cover with a tongue portion affixed to one of said covers and capable of insertion within the inside surface of the other of said covers such that said tongue portion is capable of covering the exposed binding of the album being fabricated independent of the number of pages to be utilized and being such as to provide an aesthetically appealing appearance equivalent to that of a prebound album.

Abstract:
The present invention is directed to a new and improved design associated with the fabrication and construction of a portable escape device wherein a cable is wound around a drum physically encased therein, said drum being mechanically interrelated with two separate and distinct brake mechanisms through a series of interrelated gears, the brake mechanisms capable of being automatically and/or manually actuated independent of each other or in combination therewith so as to control the rate of movement of said drum and thus regulate the rate of release of said cable wound around said drum.
