Education:
The University of Texas at Austin 2008 - 2010
Ph.D., Electrical and Computer Engineering (Energy Systems)I am currently working towards a Ph.D. as a part-time student, under the supervision of Dr. Ross Baldick. My research area is electricity markets. The University of Texas at Austin 2005 - 2007
Master's, Electrical and Computer Engineering (Energy Systems)During my master's I mainly took courses in electrical engineering and operations research. My thesis was on the operational requirements of induction genetors in isolated power systems even though I did some research work on electricity markets as well. Aristoteleion Panepistimion Thessalonikis 1996 - 2004
Diploma, Electrical and Computer EngineeringI did my undergrad at the Aristoteleion University which is located in Thessaloniki, the second biggest city in Greece. I followed the electric power academic track which constitutes of a large number of courses related to power systems such as power system analysis, power generation operation & control, electric machinery, power electronics and high-voltage engineering. My undergrad thesis was on the expansion of the greek electric power system under environmental constraints imposed by the Kyoto Protocol.
