Abstract:
A stack able patch cable for splitting an electrical signal is described. The patch cable includes two plug members connected via a cable. Each plug member includes a male end and a female end. The male end has a male signal contact and a male shield contact electrically isolated from the male signal contact. The female end includes a female signal contact and a female shield contact electrically isolated from the female signal contact. Additionally, the female signal contact is electrically connected with the male signal contact and the female shield contact is electrically connected with the male shield contact. Further, the female end is configured to receive a male end of a plug to electrically connect the corresponding contacts. Thus, the plug member is capable of receiving and connecting directly with another plug member to split a signal while maintaining signal quality.

Abstract:
An apparatus for high speed labeling of produce including a turret which carries label depositor arms and continuously rotates so that its fully extended tangential speed matches the produce conveyor speed. The label depositor arms are reciprocated along a predetermined path by a mechanical linkage. A supply of pressurized air and vacuum are selectively delivered to the label depositor arms to pick-up a print-on-demand label and adhere it to the produce. One or more rotating turrets are included within a system for high speed labeling. The system monitors a common shaft which drives a conveyor that moves multiple lanes of produce under corresponding turrets. A conveyor offset signal in combination with a printer offset control, allows the system to independently synchronize the high-speed labeling operation at each lane.

Abstract:
Portable ear-worn acoustic devices having a wingtip anchor for improved anchoring for active users and to accommodate a wide range of ear sizes and shapes are provided herein. Such acoustic devices an include an earbud device body and a wingtip anchor that extends from an outer face of the device body. The wingtip anchor can include a base portion and a protruding portion that extends upwards and is angled or curved inwardly so as to engage the upper concha of the ear. The wingtip anchor can be flexible so that engagement of a distal portion of the anchor exerts an inwardly directed spring force on the device body to maintain the earbud device body within the ear. Such acoustic devices can further include a multi-function button that is integrated with the wingtip anchor such that the base portion of the wingtip anchor is a faceplate for the multi-function button.

Abstract:
An acoustic enclosure includes a housing at least partially defining an acoustic chamber for an acoustic radiator. The housing further defines an acoustic opening from the acoustic chamber to a surrounding environment. The acoustic enclosure also has a first acoustic resonator and a second acoustic resonator. The first acoustic resonator and the second acoustic resonator are acoustically coupled with the acoustic chamber in parallel relative to each other. Each of the first acoustic resonator and the second acoustic resonator modifies a frequency response of the acoustic chamber. Loudspeakers can include such an enclosure acoustically excited or driven by an electro-acoustic transducer. As well, an electronic device can include such a loudspeaker.
