My Eagle Scout project that I carried out was a blood drive in coordination with Long Island Blood Services that collected over 45 pints of blood for New York City and Long Island hospitals during a time when there was a shortage in blood supplies. The blood drive was carried out on Sunday March 1, 1998 at Our Lady of Mercy Roman Catholic Church in Forest Hills, New York. I passed my Eagle Scout Board of Review on Thursday May 28, 1998 and my Court of Honor was held on Thursday October 8, 1998.
