Manifold Assembly For A Compressor

View page
US Patent:
20030039559, Feb 27, 2003
Filed:
Aug 21, 2001
Appl. No.:
09/934193
Inventors:
Christopher Yttri - Mesa AZ, US
Joseph Lackie - Amherst NY, US
Michael Wieland - Lockport NY, US
International Classification:
F04B039/00
F04B053/00
US Classification:
417/312000
Abstract:
A manifold assembly for use in a compressor having a compression chamber for compressing a refrigerant is disclosed. The manifold assembly includes a housing coupled to an intake port and an exhaust port. The housing includes an outer wall and at least one inner wall to define a suction chamber for guiding the refrigerant from the intake port to the compression chamber and to define a discharge chamber for guiding the refrigerant from the compression chamber to the exhaust port. A baffle is connected to the housing. The baffle defines a first fluid cavity and an exit cavity that are in operative communication with each other and the compression chamber. The baffle eliminates acoustic resonance of the refrigerant in the discharge chamber. Other embodiments of the subject invention are disclosed that include a first and second piston for compressing the refrigerant and an air-conditioning system for circulating the refrigerant to remove heat from an interior of a vehicle.

Headset Mounts

US Patent:
20180249781, Sep 6, 2018
Filed:
Feb 13, 2018
Appl. No.:
15/895450
Inventors:
- Carpentersville IL, US
Christopher Ole Yttri - Twin Lakes WI, US
Alan Edmund Derdzinski - Belvidere IL, US
International Classification:
A42B 3/30
H04R 1/10
Abstract:
A headset mount allows a headset to be rapidly connected to a rail system of a helmet and to be readily adjustable by a user upon being mounted to the helmet. The headset mount includes a housing, a wireform, a pivot mount, and a yoke. The housing may be configured to engage with a rail system of the helmet. The wireform has a first end pivotally connected to the housing for rotational movement relative to the rail system about a first axis. The pivot mount is slidably connected to the wireform at a second end of the wireform. The pivot mount is movable along a portion of the wireform, along a second axis. The yoke is connected to the pivot mount for rotation about a third axis and is connectable to the earpiece to permit the earpiece to rotate about a fourth axis.

Remote Speaker Microphone

US Patent:
20150163588, Jun 11, 2015
Filed:
Dec 9, 2014
Appl. No.:
14/564873
Inventors:
- Carpentersville IL, US
Jeffrey Alan Kennedy - Algonquin IL, US
Joshua Britton Wawak - Algonquin IL, US
Christopher Ole Yttri - Twin Lakes WI, US
Alan Edmund Derdzinski - Belvidere IL, US
International Classification:
H04R 1/32
Abstract:
A remote speaker microphone having a directional microphone, a speaker, and a housing. The housing has a first portion sized to contain the speaker and a second portion sized to contain the directional microphone. The second portion defines a front port positioned adjacent the front surface of the directional microphone and a rear port positioned adjacent the rear surface of the directional microphone. The housing is configured to minimize the distance that sound waves travel within the housing before impacting on the sound receiving surfaces of the microphone.
