Abstract:
A computer-implemented method, computer program product and computing system for receiving a vehicle identifier concerning a vehicle passing through a tolling area that requires a toll payment; providing the vehicle identifier to one or more local entities to determine whether the vehicle identifier is locally-identifiably by a specific local entity; if the vehicle identifier is locally-identifiably by a specific local entity, locally-effectuating the toll payment concerning the tolling area via the specific local entity; and memorializing the local effectuation of the toll payment concerning the tolling area via the specific local entity using distributed ledger technology.
