View page
US Patent:
59540133, Sep 21, 1999
Filed:
Sep 18, 1996
Appl. No.:
8/715657
Inventors:
George Gabriel - Great Notch NJ
Chin Soo Park - Salisbury MD
John E. Sheaffer - Perryville MD
Assignee:
Lab Products Inc. - Seaford DE
International Classification:
A01K 100
US Classification:
119419
Abstract:
A ventilated cage and rack system which maximizes cage density within the rack is provided. The rack includes at least one air exhaust plenum, and at least one canopy disposed within said rack. The canopy is capable of supporting a first cage within the rack above the canopy, and also positioning a second cage below the canopy so as to maintain a gap between the top of the second cage and the canopy to permit air to be drawn into the air exhaust plenum from the interior of the second cage through the top of the second cage and to also permit ambient air to be drawn across the top of the second cage into the air exhaust plenum.

View page
US Patent:
58933387, Apr 13, 1999
Filed:
Nov 1, 1996
Appl. No.:
8/742993
Inventors:
Neil E. Campbell - Hasbrouck Heights NJ
Chin Soo Park - Salisbury MD
James Best - Weehawken NJ
International Classification:
A01K 102
US Classification:
119475
Abstract:
An animal housing including a housing top, a housing bottom with a perforated floor, and a skirt. The skirt is configured so as to receive and support the housing bottom. A pan is disposed within the skirt such that the perforated floor of the housing bottom allows dander, urine and feces to drop therethrough onto the pan, and the pan is insertable into and removable from the skirt without disturbing the remainder of the animal housing. The animal housing further includes negative air flow means communicating with the skirt to produce a gas flow from the skirt to the negative air flow means. The animal housing may also include a frame and a bottle. The bottle includes a mouth having at least one lateral interior flange and at least one lateral exterior flange extending from the outer circumference thereof, and the frame includes a panel having at least one bottle-receiving aperture for receiving the mouth of the bottle. The bottle may be rotated to secure at least a portion of the panel between the at least one interior flange and the at least one exterior flange.

Methods And Devices For Wound Closure

View page
US Patent:
20160089145, Mar 31, 2016
Filed:
Sep 24, 2015
Appl. No.:
14/864033
Inventors:
- Somerville NJ, US
Shane A. Lacy - Bound Brook NJ, US
Chin Park - Jersey City NJ, US
International Classification:
A61B 17/08
Abstract:
The invention is related to wound closure devices, systems and methods that comprise a wound closure strip comprising a three-part release liner assembly that permits accurate placement of the wound closure strip during the approximation of opposing wound surfaces while preserving the integrity of the device's adhesive. Preferably, after the wound closure strip has been applied to approximate a wound, a flowable, polymerizable adhesive is applied to the wound closure strip to form a flexible, wound closure composite device (i.e., wound closure strip/polymerized adhesive composite).
