Self Mailing Apparatus

View page
US Patent:
57118469, Jan 27, 1998
Filed:
Apr 26, 1996
Appl. No.:
8/638333
Inventors:
Carlos Alicea - Ronkonkoma NY
Assignee:
Macro Technology International, Inc. - Ronkonkoma NY
International Classification:
B32B 3100
US Classification:
156556
Abstract:
A self mailing apparatus comprises a pair of spaced main side plates; a feeder module for feeding a stack of media being mounted between the main side plates; a registration roller module disposed in front of the feeder module; a tabbing mechanism disposed in front of the feeder module and being pivotably about a pair of first pivot axes rotatably disposed on the main side plates; a labeling mechanism disposed in front of the tabbing mechanism and being pivotably about a second pivot axis rotatably disposed between the main side plates; a media transport mechanism comprising a first roller module disposed in front of the feeder module, a second roller module disposed below the tabbing mechanism, and a third roller module disposed below the labeling mechanism; a first driving means for driving the feeder module and the registration roller module; a second driving means for driving the tabbing mechanism; a third driving means for driving the labeling mechanism; and a fourth driving means for driving the media transport mechanism such that a completely folded self mailer can be tabbed and addressed in succession.

Bottom Feeding Mechanism

View page
US Patent:
54981239, Mar 12, 1996
Filed:
Oct 24, 1994
Appl. No.:
8/328145
Inventors:
Carlos Alicea - Ronkonkoma NY
Assignee:
Macro Technology International, Inc. - Ronkankoma NY
International Classification:
B65G 5906
US Classification:
4147977
Abstract:
A bottom feeding mechanism comprises a feed roller assembly and a conveyor belt assembly functioning as a first stage gate and a set of snubber rollers functioning as a second stage gate. The feed roller assembly comprises a pair of feed rollers fixed on a shaft rotatably mounted on feeding bases and the conveyor belt assembly is situated in between the feed rollers and above the feed roller shaft. Apexes of the feed roller and the conveyor belt define the medium passage. The feed roller and the conveyor belt can only move unidirectionally, which are controlled by a driving means through one-way clutches. The snubber rollers are rotatably mounted on a bracket in an overlapping relation, i. e. one is over the other. Each snubber roller is independently driven.

Wafer Chucking Monitor Using High Frequency Injected Ac Signal

View page
US Patent:
20220216080, Jul 7, 2022
Filed:
Jan 7, 2021
Appl. No.:
17/143960
Inventors:
- Fort Collins CO, US
Carlos Alicea - Medford NY, US
International Classification:
H01L 21/67
H02N 13/00
H01L 21/683
H01L 21/66
Abstract:
This disclosure describes systems, methods, and apparatus for non-invasive wafer chuck monitoring using a low voltage AC signal injected into a high voltage DC chucking voltage provided to a wafer chuck. Monitoring the injected signal can provide insight into the wafer chucking state and remedial actions, such as realignment of the wafer with the wafer chuck, can be carried out. Because of the low voltage nature of the AC signal, wafer chuck monitoring can be performed without influencing chucking performed by the higher voltage DC chucking voltage.
