Floor Cleaning Device Having Disposable Floor Sheets And Rotatable Beater Bar And Method Of Cleaning A Floor Therewith

View page
US Patent:
20130333129, Dec 19, 2013
Filed:
Jun 15, 2012
Appl. No.:
13/524491
Inventors:
Glenn Allen Bradbury - Mason OH, US
Brent Michael Willey - Gahanna OH, US
International Classification:
A47L 13/16
A47L 13/52
A47L 13/50
US Classification:
15105, 1525701, 152101
Abstract:
A cleaning system. The system has a floor cleaning device, disposable floor sheet removably attachable to the device and a rotatable beater bar. The device has a single wheel, and moves on the target surface by rolling action of the wheel and gliding of the floor sheet. This arrangement, not having multiple wheels, provides enhanced maneuverability, and improves cleaning performance. The cleaning system may be used to clean hard surfaces, such as a floor.

Power Tool Battery Pack With Wireless Communication

View page
US Patent:
20190353712, Nov 21, 2019
Filed:
Jul 31, 2019
Appl. No.:
16/528296
Inventors:
- Macau, MO
Brent M. Willey - Anderson SC, US
International Classification:
G01R 31/371
G01R 31/396
G01R 31/382
H02J 7/00
H01M 10/48
G01R 31/36
H01M 10/42
Abstract:
Trigger pull tracking, charge time estimation, and other features for a power tool battery pack with wireless communication. A battery pack system includes a power tool battery pack and a processor. The battery pack includes a plurality of cells and a voltage sensor connected to the plurality of cells. The processor is in communication with the voltage sensor that detects a voltage across the plurality of cells using the voltage sensor. The processor further converts the voltage across the plurality of cells to a state of charge; determines a charge rate of a charger charging the battery pack; and determines a conversion factor based on the charge rate. The processor then generates a time to full charge of the battery pack based on the state of charge and the scalar conversion factor. The processor may further generate current traces for the battery pack.

Air Heater

US Patent:
20190338950, Nov 7, 2019
Filed:
May 2, 2019
Appl. No.:
16/401282
Inventors:
- Macau, MO
Brent M. WILLEY - Anderson SC, US
Guo Hong YIN - Dongguan City, CN
Wen Jie CHAI - Dongguan City, CN
Matthew T. AARON - Greenville SC, US
International Classification:
F23N 5/10
F23N 3/08
Abstract:
A liquid fuel air heater comprises a housing defining a motor housing portion and a grip portion extending from the motor housing portion. An electric motor is positioned in the motor housing portion. A combustion chamber is at least partially positioned within the motor housing portion. A fan is driven by the motor when activated for generating an axial airflow through the combustion chamber. A battery pack containing a plurality of battery cells connected to each other in a series or parallel arrangement is removably coupled to the grip portion of the housing for supplying power to the motor.

Armrest Assembly

View page
US Patent:
20190247261, Aug 15, 2019
Filed:
Feb 8, 2019
Appl. No.:
16/270992
Inventors:
- Versailles OH, US
Richard Lee Lane - Cincinnati OH, US
Rainer Bernhard Teufel - Worthington OH, US
Arthur Dale Smith - Greenville OH, US
Brent Michael Willey - Anderson SC, US
International Classification:
A61G 13/12
A61G 15/12
Abstract:
An armrest assembly is disclosed herein. The armrest assembly includes a main body with a proximal adjustment assembly disposed at a first end and a distal adjustment assembly disposed at a second end. The proximal adjustment assembly provides for adjustment of the main body about a first axis. The distal adjustment assembly provides for adjustment of an arm pad about a second axis as well as a third axis. To prevent damage, a breakaway assembly is provided by the distal adjustment assembly to unlock the arm pad from a raised position and lower it into a lower position in the event a weight applied to the arm pad is beyond a particular weight threshold.

Battery Contact With A Surface Texture

View page
US Patent:
20170271645, Sep 21, 2017
Filed:
Mar 17, 2017
Appl. No.:
15/462275
Inventors:
- Macau, MO
Mao Zhen Guo - Dong Guan City, CN
Brent M. Willey - Anderson SC, US
William S. Miller - Anderson SC, US
International Classification:
H01M 2/30
H01M 2/32
H01M 2/10
Abstract:
Battery contact with surface texturing. Exemplary battery contacts are located within a battery pack. The battery pack is operable to provide power to a device through a device contact of the device. The battery pack includes a battery pack housing, at least one battery cell located within the battery pack housing, and battery contacts including a positive terminal and a negative terminal. The battery contacts are configured to engage the device contact of the device and allow electric current to transfer from the battery pack to the device. The battery contacts define a surface having a surface texture. The surface texture includes raised portions for contacting the device contact to allow electric current to transfer from the battery pack to the device. The surface texture also includes recessed regions spaced away from the surface and for providing a space between the battery contacts and the device contact.
