A realtor since 2004 and native of California, Berdie spent ten years living in Stockholm where she studied art history and business at Stockholm University. Fluent in Swedish, Berdie honed her skills at the international level in Stockholm applying her knowledge and talents at Bukowski's auction house in client services and the European Union's delegation when Sweden was negotiating for membership of the E.U. Her varied background and experience enable her to readily recognize asset value and to negotiate complex transactions. Hardworking, tenacious, resourceful and discreet are words used to describe her. Berdie enjoys working with a variety of clients, whether they are money managers, diplomats, personal assistants or celebrities. Berdie also has a very international clientel and works with a russian speaking leading architect in Greenwich. She is currently the New York representative for Stockholm's Auktionsverk, Scandinavia's oldest auction house, dealing in fine art and antiques for collectors and dealers worldwide. Berdie has been a volunteer for Greenwich public schools and Greenwich Country Day School. She was a past RTM representative for the Town of Greenwich. She has served on the board of the YWCA and is a founding member of the Bruce Museum's Art Collectors Council. She is also a member of the Avon Theatre committee, raising funds to bring art house films and documentaries to the Greenwich/Stamford area.
