Methods And Devices For Electrically Insulating A Power Line

View page
US Patent:
20220392672, Dec 8, 2022
Filed:
Jan 26, 2022
Appl. No.:
17/585266
Inventors:
Anya L. Getman - Sandy OR, US
International Classification:
H01B 13/16
B64D 47/00
B64D 1/02
B64C 39/02
Abstract:
An insulation application assembly for applying insulation to a power line employs an open-ended enclosure to partly surround a segment of the power line. The assembly employs an insulation material conveying mechanism to move insulation material from insulation storage to the insulation material applicator connected to the interior surface of the open-ended enclosure.

Portable Scanning Device And Processing System

View page
US Patent:
20200305739, Oct 1, 2020
Filed:
Mar 31, 2020
Appl. No.:
16/836704
Inventors:
Anya L. Getman - Sandy OR, US
International Classification:
A61B 5/024
A61B 5/04
Abstract:
A portable device for diagnosing medical conditions and/or physiological reactions includes internal sensors, cameras, mirrors, lasers, electronics, speakers and/or other components. Sensors may be mounted on one or more internal gimbals for stability. The device transmits data it obtains to be processed. Deep learning and other algorithms and tools may be employed to make a diagnosis, detect physiological reactions, or make other observations from data received from the device, as desired. Information from the analysis may be communicated to the device for display. In one embodiment, the device is in the shape of a common item such as a coffee cup. In another embodiment, the device is in the form of a musical instrument and is configured to sense a subject's reaction to music, beats, and/or other stimuli.

Resonating Probe With Optional Sensor, Emitter, And/Or Injection Capability

View page
US Patent:
20200305967, Oct 1, 2020
Filed:
Mar 27, 2020
Appl. No.:
16/832574
Inventors:
Anya L. Getman - Sandy OR, US
International Classification:
A61B 18/14
A61B 18/22
A61B 17/43
Abstract:
A microsurgical probe employs an optional probe support structure; an optical fiber for providing a feed path for an emission wavelength; a chemical feed path for delivering a chemical; a resonator motor; and a probe accessory tool. A microsurgical system additionally employs a sensor and an artificial intelligence (AI) system to assess conditions based on data provided by the sensor. The system can be employed to remove tumor tissue that is interwoven with healthy tissue. This system can also be employed to fertilize old, inflexible ova.

Characterizing Sperm And Correlating Their Dna

View page
US Patent:
20200306320, Oct 1, 2020
Filed:
Mar 13, 2020
Appl. No.:
16/817610
Inventors:
Anya L. Getman - Sandy OR, US
International Classification:
A61K 35/52
A01N 1/02
G06K 7/00
G01N 33/50
C12M 1/34
Abstract:
Sperm can be separated by nonlethal methods in a sorting track that into cubicles having different cubicle characteristics. A test sample of sperm from selected cubicles can be sacrificed to determine their prevalent genetic characteristics. The visually identifiable characteristics of sperm from the test samples can also be correlated with prevalent genetic characteristics. A living sperm, sharing selected genetic characteristics, can be selected from remaining sperm having similar identifiable characteristics in a respective cubicle and used for fertilizing an egg.

Piezoelectric Adaptive Mesh

View page
US Patent:
20200313066, Oct 1, 2020
Filed:
Apr 1, 2020
Appl. No.:
16/837071
Inventors:
Anya L. Getman - Sandy OR, US
International Classification:
H01L 41/08
A61H 23/02
A47C 3/025
A47C 7/74
Abstract:
A piezoelectric adaptive mesh includes multiple piezoelectric fibers that include piezoelectric structures that can act as sensor and/or actuators to enhance a person's comfort. The piezoelectric structures communicate with a controller and/or a software processing system and may identify the position of a user and make adjustments through the actuators to increase user comfort by providing support, assistance, treatment, and/or temperature adjustment.

Cooling System For Industrial Vehicle

View page
US Patent:
20160090892, Mar 31, 2016
Filed:

Appl. No.:
14/497211
Inventors:
- Fairview OR, US
Anya Getman - Sandy OR, US
Assignee:
NACCO Materials Handling Group, Inc. - Fairview OR
International Classification:
F01P 1/06
F01P 3/18
Abstract:
A cooling system for an industrial vehicle includes one or more heat radiation devices located in a containment. The one or more heat radiation devices may be configured to cool a plurality of components in the industrial vehicle. An air intake device may be configured to create airflow from outside of the industrial vehicle into the containment. The airflow passes through the one or more heat radiation devices. The cooling system may further include a control device operatively connected to the containment. The control device may be configured to selectively direct at least a portion of the airflow to the plurality of components in the industrial vehicle after the airflow passes through the one or more heat radiation devices.
