I have personally been a realtor for 7 years and have recently decided to take my career to the next level as a real estate Broker. I just opened my brokerage Curb Appeal Realty in June 2010. Prior to owning and running a brokerage,Personally,Iwas an REO (bank owned property) listing agent for 4 years, and specialized in traditional and short sales on residential homes for my entire real estate career. I focus my business in the east valley of Maricopa County of the Phoenix Metro area. I do this because I always wanted to be an expert and to accomplish this I do not spread myself thin and work the entire valley. My areas of focus are the cities of Chandler, Gilbert, Tempe, Mesa, and Queen Creek. In my real estate career I have sold over 250 homes working with investors, asset managers, buyers, and sellers. I grew up in Scottsdale, Arizona and currently reside in Chandler, Arizona. I have a wonderful wife and two children ages 7 and 10. My name is Anthony O'Connell and I have been serving the east valley in Maricopa and Pinal County for the last nine years in Real Estate. Prior to working for RE/MAX Masters on The Gina McKinley team as an associate Broker, I was owner and Designated Broker of Curb Appeal Realty in Gilbert, Arizona. I began selling residential resale for the first four years, than ventured into the REO business for two years, and finally worked with investors for the last two year. As an REO listing agent for AZCO Properties I would list, market, manage the property preservation, and complete broker price opinions on several hundred homes. My experience with investors included picking up foreclosure auction homes, coordinating the rehab to the property, and remarketing the home on the open market. I have completed roughly 50 short sale transactions with right around an 87% success rate. On my free time I enjoy coaching pop warner youth football, which I have done for over 10 years, golfing, and educating. I enjoy being outdoors and do not mind the Arizona heat. I enjoy networking on the internet because you alway meet great people and can educate yourself through others.
