International Classification:
H04R 1/02
D04B 1/16
D04B 21/16
Abstract:
This document describes textile assemblies for speakers, including textile assemblies with inlaid tensioning yarns, and associated apparatuses and methods. The textile assembly includes a textile body () with inlaid tensioning yarns (). The textile assembly () may be a fully-fashioned textile swatch. The tensioning yarns are inlaid at intervals in the textile body but can slide within or be pulled through the textile body. Further, the tensioning yarns have ends () that are accessible near the edges of the textile body for various reasons. First, pulling on them while the textile assembly is on an acoustic device () tensions the tensioning yarns such that they limit movement of the textile assembly and break up vibration modes. Second, their ends can be tied directly to, formed into loops to hook over, or wound around, features () on the acoustic device to removably secure the textile assembly to the acoustic device.

International Classification:
H01H 13/14
H01H 13/04
Abstract:
Various arrangements of smart home devices are presented herein. A chassis assembly of a smart home device may define one or more compartments. The chassis assembly may include a plurality of cover fasteners. A rotatable cover assembly may be present and configured to be removably attached with the plurality of cover fasteners to the chassis assembly in any rotational orientation and to at least partially cover a front of the chassis assembly. While the rotatable cover is removably attached with the plurality of cover fasteners, the rotatable cover assembly is configured to block access to the one or more compartments defined by the chassis assembly.

US Patent:
20140153086, Jun 5, 2014
Filed:
Nov 27, 2013
Appl. No.:
14/091527
Inventors:
- BERGEN OP ZOOM, NL
Aditya Narayanan - Evansville IN, US
Assignee:
SABIC INNOVATIVE PLASTICS IP B.V. - BERGEN OP ZOOM
International Classification:
G02B 13/14
US Classification:
359356
Abstract:
An article comprises a lens having a width of 0.1 millimeters to 100 millimeters, a length of 0.5 millimeters to 500 millimeters, and a thickness of 0.2 millimeters to 5 millimeters; which transmits more than 60% of light having a wavelength of 760 nanometers to 2500 nanometers. The lens comprises a polymer and a colorant component. The lens is transparent and dimensionally stable at a wall thickness of 0.2 millimeters to 5.0 millimeters and remains transparent and dimensionally stable after being (a) exposed to a precondition of 60 C./60% relative humidity for 120 hours and (b) then subjected to a lead free solder test having a peak temperature of 260 C. for up to 30 seconds.
