Cap Allowing Addition Of Adjunct Into A Container

View page
US Patent:
7347322, Mar 25, 2008
Filed:
Nov 23, 2005
Appl. No.:
11/287071
Inventors:
Young Kook Cho - Lawrenceville GA, US
International Classification:
B65D 25/08
US Classification:
206222, 215DIG 8
Abstract:
Disclosed herein is a cap having a lower cap coupled with an upper cap. The lower cap has an insertion part defining an adjunct receiving chamber formed therein. The upper cap has a security band removeably connected thereto by a connection member. Also an inner skirt extends downward from the upper cap and extends into the insertion part of the lower cap. A push bar extends downwards from the inner skirt further into the insertion part of the lower cap. The insertion part of the lower cap has a bottom opening, which is covered with a bottom cover joined along a bottom circumferential edge of the insertion part surrounding the bottom opening of the insertion part. The bottom circumferential edge of the insertion part is angled to have a downward slope with respect to a lateral direction. The push bar of the upper cap is positioned so that a lower end of the push bar is positioned at a lowest part of the insertion part. The push bar and bottom cover is formed so that a rotation of the upper cap in a predetermined direction will cause the push bar to cut the bottom cover to expose the bottom opening and discharge the adjunct therethrough, and further rotation will cause rotation of the lower cap and eventual detachment of the lower cap and upper cap from the container.

Sanitary Double Cap Allowing Addition Of Adjunct To Contents Of A Container

US Patent:
7748550, Jul 6, 2010
Filed:
Nov 23, 2005
Appl. No.:
11/286678
Inventors:
Young Kook Cho - Lawrenceville GA, US
International Classification:
B65D 25/08
B65D 51/28
B65D 41/34
US Classification:
215228, 206222, 215252, 220502, 220521, 220212
Abstract:
Disclosed herein is double cap having a lower cap rotatably connected to an upper cap. The lower cap has an insertion pipe body defining an adjunct receiving chamber therein. The insertion pipe body has a bottom opening covered by a bottom cover. A plurality of rib protrusions is provided on an inner surface of the insertion pipe body. First and second steps are formed on an upper end of the lower cap and stepped downward from an upper end of the adjunct receiving chamber. A push member, having a push pipe body is received in the adjunct receiving chamber of the lower cap, with a plurality of guide protrusions formed on the exterior of the push pipe body, so that the rib protrusions of the lower cap are guided by the guide protrusions to guide the upward and downward movement of the push member. External push threading is provided around a circumferential outer surface of the push member. The upper cap has internal threading provided for engagement with the external push threading formed on the push member to provide an upward and downward moving force for the push member relative to the direction of rotation of the upper cap, so that, when the upper cap is rotated in a predetermined direction, the push member moves downward to open the bottom cover.

An open-and-shut unit is seated to be coaxial with the additive holding unit and moves up and down to open or shut the opening. An outer cap unit includes a sealing tube which is placed between the open-and-shut unit and the additive holding unit and performs a sealing function. A skirt having a forgery preventing function is integrally provided on a lower end of the outer cap body. A delay hook retains the skirt for a period when the opening is opened, thus delaying separation of the skirt.

Storage Case For Protable Gas Ranges

View page
US Patent:
20060144386, Jul 6, 2006
Filed:
Dec 29, 2005
Appl. No.:
11/322291
Inventors:
Young Cho - Lawrenceville GA, US
International Classification:
F24C 5/20
US Classification:
126038000
Abstract:
Disclosed herein is a storage case which stores a portable gas range therein and has a function of protecting flames of a portable gas range from wind while cooking food outdoors. The storage case of the present invention includes a body, which stores the portable gas range therein, with an opening formed in one side of the body, and a cover plate, which is foldably coupled to the body at an end of the opening. The storage case further includes a catch which is provided on the body, and a hook which is provided on the cover plate and removably coupled to the catch. The storage case further includes a plurality of windscreen plates foldably coupled to a front end of the cover plate. Therefore, while cooking food, the windscreen plates are unfolded to protect flames generated by the portable gas range from wind, thus ensuring a stable cooking condition.

Cooking Implement For Portable Gas Ranges

View page
US Patent:
20060144389, Jul 6, 2006
Filed:
Dec 29, 2005
Appl. No.:
11/323626
Inventors:
Young Cho - Lawrenceville GA, US
International Classification:
F24C 15/10
US Classification:
12621400R, 126216000
Abstract:
Disclosed herein is a cooking implement for portable gas ranges. The cooking implement includes a main body and a heat shield plate provided below the main body. A plurality of insertion slots is formed in the heat shield plate so that supports of the gas range are inserted into the respective insertion slots. A plurality of heat dissipation holes is formed in the heat shield plate. A contact plate is provided below the heat shield to prevent thermal conduction. Therefore, while cooking food, the heat shield plate intercepts both the flames generated from a portable gas range and radiant heat of the heated cooking implement main body, thus preventing safety hazards, such as explosion of the gas container due to overheating. Furthermore, because the heat shield plates are stably coupled to supports of the portable gas range, the cooking implement can maintain a stable position thereof while cooking.
