Description:
Before I began my career in real estate, I was working at UPS and going to college. I am still currently attending college as a person can never have enough education and the fact that I love to learn. However, I have left my job at UPS after 3 years and countless recommendation letters from my superiors so I can purely focus my time on Real Estate and school. I am attending Las Positas Community College at the moment and am transferring to East Bay State soon to acquire more education in the business of Real Estate. I also attend many classes that are provided at Bay East Association of Realtors and at my Keller Williams office. With the knowledge that I have acquired and continue to learn everyday, I will use this knowledge to best serve you. As a new real estate agent with Keller Williams Realty, I have received extensive training from a great mentor program that has given me hands on experience. With my ability to learn and adapt quickly, my habit to dedicate 110% effort, and my hobby to make old fashion jokes, I am here to satisfy your real estate investment with a smile. Contact me now, you'll be glad you did

Method And Apparatus For Transmit Beamformer System

View page
US Patent:
6363033, Mar 26, 2002
Filed:
Aug 28, 2000
Appl. No.:
09/649813
Inventors:
Christopher R. Cole - Cupertino CA
Albert Gee - Los Altos CA
Thomas Liu - Stanford CA
Assignee:
Acuson Corporation - Mountain View CA
International Classification:
G03B 4206
US Classification:
367138
Abstract:
A digital transmit beamformer system with multiple beam transmit capability has a plurality of multi-channel transmitters, each channel with a source of sampled, complex-valued initial waveform information representative of the ultimate desired waveform to be applied to one or more corresponding transducer elements for each beam. Each multi-channel transmitter applies beamformation delays and apodization to each channels respective initial waveform information digitally, digitally modulates the information by a carrier frequency, and interpolates the information to the DAC sample rate for conversion to an analog signal and application to the associated transducer element(s). The beamformer transmitters can be programmed per channel and per beam with carrier frequency, delay, apodization and calibration values, For pulsed wave operation, pulse waveform parameters can be specified to the beamformer transmitters on a per firing basis, without degrading the scan frame rate to non-useful diagnostic levels. Waveform parameters can be specified to the transmitters by an external central control system which is responsible for higher level flexibility, such as scan formats, focusing depths and fields of view. The transmit pulse delay specified per-channel to each transmitter is applied in at least two components: a focusing time delay component and a focusing phase component.

Multiband Antenna With Grounded Element

View page
US Patent:
20120154222, Jun 21, 2012
Filed:
Dec 17, 2010
Appl. No.:
12/971444
Inventors:
Sung-Hoon Oh - Cupertino CA, US
Thomas Liu - Sunnyvale CA, US
Thorsten Hertel - San Jose CA, US
Assignee:
PALM, INC. - SUNNYVALE CA
International Classification:
H01Q 1/24
H01Q 1/38
US Classification:
343702, 343700 MS
Abstract:
Various embodiments of an antenna structure for mobile devices are described. In one or more embodiments a multi-band antenna includes a grounded parasitic element. In some embodiments, a high band arm is provided, and is fed off-center, so that the resonating arms are not symmetrical in length. In some embodiments, a coupled ground resonator is included to add a differential resonating mode. A ground leg may be included to offer facilitate impedance and inductance matching. The combination of these structures creates four distinct resonance modes for the high band, which creases a wide effective bandwidth for the disclosed antenna. Other embodiments are described and claimed.

Multiband Antenna With Surrounding Conductive Cosmetic Feature

View page
US Patent:
20120169547, Jul 5, 2012
Filed:
Jan 3, 2011
Appl. No.:
12/983665
Inventors:
Sung-Hoon Oh - Cupertino CA, US
Thomas Liu - Sunnyvale CA, US
Thorsten Hertel - San Jose CA, US
Joselito Gavilan - Sunnyvale CA, US
Assignee:
PALM, INC. - Sunnyvale CA
International Classification:
H01Q 1/24
US Classification:
343702
Abstract:
Various embodiments of an antenna structure for mobile devices are described. In one or more embodiments a multi-band antenna includes a multi-band antenna with a conductive cosmetic feature operating as a resonating element. In some embodiments, an antenna includes a folded monopole element, a loop element formed between a portion of the conductive cosmetic feature and the printed circuit board and an L-shaped slot antenna element defined in part by a side surface of the conductive cosmetic feature. In some embodiments the folded monopole element, the loop element, and the slot antenna element are capable of resonating in response to a signal applied to the folded monopole element. Other embodiments are described and claimed.

Multiband Antenna With Ground Resonator And Tuning Element

View page
US Patent:
20120169568, Jul 5, 2012
Filed:
Jan 3, 2011
Appl. No.:
12/983695
Inventors:
Sung-Hoon Oh - Cupertino CA, US
Thomas Liu - Sunnyvale CA, US
Thorsten Hertel - San Jose CA, US
Assignee:
PALM, INC. - Sunnyvale CA
International Classification:
H01Q 21/30
US Classification:
343893
Abstract:
Various embodiments of an antenna structure for mobile devices are described. In one or more embodiments a multi-band antenna includes first, second and third resonating elements. The first and second resonating elements may each have an L-shape, and may be fed by a single feed leg. The third resonating element may be coupled to ground. In some embodiments, the first resonating element may be longer than the second resonating element, and the third resonating element may be positioned adjacent to the first resonating element. In other embodiments, a tuning element is coupled to the signal feed and is positioned adjacent to the second resonating element. The tuning element may have a geometry that is similar to a geometry of the second resonating element. The combination of these structures creates a plurality of distinct resonance modes which creases a wide effective bandwidth for the disclosed antenna. Other embodiments are described and claimed.

Communication System Having Voice And Data Capability

View page
US Patent:
46851232, Aug 4, 1987
Filed:
Sep 13, 1985
Appl. No.:
6/775742
Inventors:
Richard Y. Hsia - Holmdel NJ
Thomas C. Liu - Atlantic Highlands NJ
Assignee:
American Telephone and Telegraph Company - New York NY
AT&T Information Systems Inc. - Morristown NJ
International Classification:
H04M 1100
US Classification:
379 93
Abstract:
A communication system includes a plurality of station sets each connected over two pair communication facilities to a control module. An adapter unit switchably connects an external data or voice device via a station set to either facility in response to a control signal from the control module. A data mode is established by sending a data mode request signal from the station set to the control module. An off-hook signal from a connected data device is used to request a data call. The control module signals to which facility the adapter is to connect the data call and outputs a unique visual on the data call facility. The control module prevents other calls from bridging onto or interfering with the data call. The system also permits a voice call on a facility to be converted to a data call on the other facility. Furthermore, a user can make a voice call over one facility while a data call is in progress on the other facility.
