Method And Apparatus For Regulating And Improving The Status Of Development And Survival Of Living Organisms

View page
US Patent:
58140786, Sep 29, 1998
Filed:
Feb 28, 1995
Appl. No.:
8/395042
Inventors:
Lin Zhou - Fairfield NJ
International Classification:
A61N 506
US Classification:
607 1
Abstract:
A method and apparatus utilizing the action of simulated bio-frequency spectrum signals generated upon human beings, animals, plants, and micro-organisms to regulate and improve the status of growth and survival of said organisms. The simulated bio-frequency spectrum signals are generated through the excitation of one or a plurality of chemical elements and their compounds contained in the simulated bio-frequency spectrum signal generator by certain form of energy. Said simulated bio-frequency spectrum signals are broad band signals with wavelengths ranging from micrometers to centimeters. Said signals act upon certain sites of the organisms, elicit transition of the atoms, molecules, and electrons in the body of the organism, and cause resonances, thereby the aim of regulating and improving the status of growth of the organism is achieved.

Apparatus For Generating Electromagnetic Radiation

US Patent:
57921849, Aug 11, 1998
Filed:
Nov 14, 1995
Appl. No.:
8/557303
Inventors:
Lin Zhou - Fairfield NJ
International Classification:
A61N 506
US Classification:
607 1
Abstract:
This apparatus can generate simulated bio-frequency spectrum signals from 0. 2. mu. m-10 mm. The signals are produced by a simulated bio-spectrum generating component when monomer or compounds of one or more chemical elements in the apparatus are excited by a certain form of energy source (such as thermal energy or magnetic energy ). The simulated bio-spectrum signals are broad signals from. mu. m to mm. Through direct exposure to the affected parts of the body, the transiting of energy levels of the molecules, atoms and electrons, is a cause of the regulating and improving of the status of development and survival of living organisms.

Process And Apparatus For Alkyl Halide Fumigant Recovery And Conversion

View page
US Patent:
20230038873, Feb 9, 2023
Filed:
Aug 19, 2022
Appl. No.:
17/892006
Inventors:
- Hoboken NJ, US
Lin Zhou - Weehawken NJ, US
International Classification:
B01D 53/70
B01D 53/18
B01D 53/78
Abstract:
Process and apparatus () are disclosed for capturing and converting an ozone-depleting alkyl halide fumigant from a fumigant/air mixed stream () by absorbing it into a metal hydroxide-alcohol buffer solution () in an absorber/scrubber () to produce a fumigant-free air stream (). The captured alkyl halide in aqueous alcohol solution can actively react with the metal hydroxide in alcohol solution to produce a value-added product, such as a precipitate metal halide, and another alcohol that further enhances absorption. The absorbing solution is well-mixed with make-up alcohol and alkali streams to maintain the concentration of the metal hydroxide in the desired buffer solution range. The solid precipitate metal halide () is separated from the liquid stream, and the metal hydroxide-containing mixed alcohol stream () is recycled to the absorber/scrubber ().

Method And System For Automatic Real-Time Identification And Presentation Of Analogies To Clarify A Concept

View page
US Patent:
20180005116, Jan 4, 2018
Filed:
Jul 1, 2016
Appl. No.:
15/200243
Inventors:
- Armonk NY, US
Robert J. Schloss - Briarcliff Manor NY, US
Komminist S. Weldemariam - Canada, KE
Lin Zhou - LaGrangeville NY, US
International Classification:
G06N 5/02
H04L 29/08
Abstract:
A method is disclosed including presenting a concept to a user via one or more presentation devices and monitoring the user's response to the presentation of the concept by a sensing device. The sensing device may generate sensor data based on the monitored user's response. The method further includes determining based on the sensor data generated by the sensor that the user requires clarification of the presented concept. In response to determining that the user requires clarification of the presented concept, the method further includes identifying an analogy that is configured to clarify the presented concept and presenting the identified analogy to the user via one or more of the presentation devices.
