View page
US Patent:
20220363247, Nov 17, 2022
Filed:
Apr 30, 2021
Appl. No.:
17/246412
Inventors:
- Foster City CA, US
Cooper Stokes Sloan - San Francisco CA, US
Li Yon Tan - West Lafayette IN, US
Feng Tian - Foster City CA, US
Chuang Wang - Sunnyvale CA, US
International Classification:
B60W 30/09
B60W 10/18
B60W 10/20
B60W 30/095
G08G 1/16
Abstract:
Techniques for accurately predicting and avoiding collisions with objects detected in an environment of a vehicle are discussed herein. A vehicle safety system can implement a model to output data indicating an intersection probability between the object and a portion of the vehicle in the future. The model may employ a rear collision filter, a distance filter, and a time to stop filter to determine whether a predicted collision may be a false positive, in which case the techniques may include refraining from reporting such predicted collision to other another vehicle computing device to control the vehicle.

Filed:
Jan 18, 2019
Appl. No.:
16/252327
Inventors:
- Menlo Park CA, US
Li Tan - Fremont CA, US
John Pottebaum - San Francisco CA, US
Christopher James Connolly - San Francisco CA, US
John Samuel Barnett - Newark CA, US
Udeepta Dutta Bordoloi - Foster City CA, US

International Classification:
G06F 3/0484
G06F 3/0488
G06T 19/20
G06F 3/0481
Abstract:
Systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable media can provide one or more options to adjust, in a virtual three-dimensional space, an image in an initial perspective. At least a first command, provided based on the one or more options, to adjust the image from the initial perspective into an adjusted perspective can be detected. The image can be adjusted, based on at least the first command, into the adjusted perspective in the virtual three-dimensional space to produce an adjusted image. A second command to modify a viewable area of the adjusted image can be detected. At least a portion of the adjusted image can be automatically fitted, when the second command has ceased, within a specified display area while one or more empty regions can be minimized in the specified display area.

Determining A Rate For Sampling Information Describing Presentation Of Content Based On Previously Received Information Describing Presentation Of Content

View page
US Patent:
20190102468, Apr 4, 2019
Filed:
Sep 29, 2017
Appl. No.:
15/721671
Inventors:
- Menlo Park CA, US
Li Tan - Fremont CA, US
David Harry Garcia - Campbell CA, US
International Classification:
G06F 17/30
G06Q 50/00
H04L 29/08
G06Q 30/02
Abstract:
An online system logs information describing presentation of content items, such as actions performed with presented content items or descriptions of presentation of content items, and uses the logged information to recommend other content items. Because of a large amount of information describing content item presentation, the online system samples the information and stores the resulting samples. To improve accuracy of the sampling, the online system adapts the sampling rate for different types of information describing presentation of content items based on amounts of the different types of information received during a specific time interval.
