Assignee:
Janssen Pharmaceuticals, Inc. - Titusville NJ
International Classification:
A61M 5/315
A61M 5/32
A61M 5/31
Abstract:
A grip accessory for a manual injection device comprises a housing having a generally hollow body for supporting a manual injection device therein. The housing comprises a distal portion comprising a first opening into which a manual injection device can be inserted, a proximal portion comprising a second opening through which a needle of the manual injection device is extendable, the proximal portion comprising a skin contacting surface at a proximal end of the device. An intermediate portion extends between the proximal and distal portions and guide means is provided on an interior surface of the distal portion for guiding a plunger rod of an injection device during delivery of an injection.

US Patent:
20180075605, Mar 15, 2018
Filed:
Sep 13, 2016
Appl. No.:
15/263761
Inventors:
- Germantown MD, US
KUI LIU - Germantown MD, US
SIXIAO WEI - Germantown MD, US
ERIK BLASCH - Rome NY, US
CAROLYN SHEAFF - Rome NY, US
HAIBIN LING - Cherry Hill NJ, US
GENSHE CHEN - Germantown MD, US
International Classification:
G06T 7/11
G06T 7/194
Abstract:
In accordance with various embodiments of the disclosed subject matter, a method and a system for detecting multiple objects from real-time images are provided. The method comprises: performing, using a CPU host, an image segmentation process to divide real-time input images into a plurality of image partitions; performing, by multiple GPUs, a fast block-wise registration process, a mark setting process, a background generation process, a foreground generation process based on a Hyper-Q computation infrastructure, and a support vector machine classification process; and generating, by the CPU host, visualization classification images.

Method And System For Predicting Collision Probability Of Space Objects Via Graphics Processing Unit

View page
US Patent:
20170124758, May 4, 2017
Filed:
Oct 29, 2015
Appl. No.:
14/927428
Inventors:
- Germantown MD, US
KUI LIU - Germantown MD, US
GENSHE CHEN - Germantown MD, US
KHANH D. PHAM - Kirtland AFB NM, US
ERIK BLASCH - Rome NY, US
International Classification:
G06T 17/00
G06T 19/00
Abstract:
Method and system for predicting collision probability of space objects are provided. Space objects are allocated according to a total number thereof for parallel computation in a GPU device. Initial orbit states of the space objects are generated by an initial-orbit-state generation kernel of the GPU device. Orbit propagation for each space object is performed based on the initial orbit state to predict a state of each space object by an orbit propagation kernel of the GPU device. The predicted states of the space objects are collected by a predicted-orbit-state collection kernel of the GPU device. A real-time visualization and rendering of the predicted space objects are performed in a form of point cloud during interactions between CPU threads and GPU kernels. A CPU host predicts a collision probability of any two space objects among the multitude of space objects, according to the interactions between the CPU threads and the GPU kernels.

Cloud Based Video Detection And Tracking System

US Patent:
20160110885, Apr 21, 2016
Filed:
Oct 21, 2014
Appl. No.:
14/519248
Inventors:
- ROME NY, US
KUI LIU - GERMANTOWN MD, US
BINGWEI LIU - VESTAL NY, US
DAN SHEN - GERMANTOWN MD, US
GENSHE CHEN - GERMANTOWN MD, US
International Classification:
G06T 7/20
G06T 7/40
G06T 7/00
Abstract:
A method for detecting and tracking multiple moving targets from airborne video within the framework of a cloud computing infrastructure. The invention simultaneously utilizes information from an optical flow generator and an active-learning histogram matcher in a complimentary manner so as to rule out erroneous data that may otherwise, separately, yield false target information. The invention utilizes user-based voice-to-text color feature description for track matching with hue features from image pixels.
