Mobile Accelerator

View page
US Patent:
20230077576, Mar 16, 2023
Filed:
Aug 16, 2022
Appl. No.:
17/820142
Inventors:
- San Francisco CA, US
Jun Ho Choi - Mountain View CA, US
International Classification:
H04L 45/302
H04W 40/00
Abstract:
A mobile accelerator system includes point of presences (POPs) that includes an entry POP. The entry POP receives a query to a content server from a mobile device via a dedicated transport channel. The entry POP determines a direct connection score for a direct connection between the mobile device and the content server that does not traverse the mobile accelerator system. The entry POP determines a POP connection score for a connection between the mobile device and the content server through the entry POP and a candidate exit POP. The entry POP determines a dynamic path ranking based on the direct connection score, the POP connection score, and other POP connection score(s) associated with other candidate exit POP(s). The entry POP determines at least a portion of a dynamic path between the mobile device based on the dynamic path ranking and routes data transfers through that dynamic path.

Modifying The Congestion Control Algorithm Applied To A Connection Based On Request Characteristics

View page
US Patent:
20230056734, Feb 23, 2023
Filed:
Nov 7, 2022
Appl. No.:
17/982358
Inventors:
- San Francisco CA, US
Jun Ho Choi - Sunnyvale CA, US
International Classification:
H04L 47/27
H04L 47/10
H04L 47/283
H04L 47/193
Abstract:
An edge server receives a first request message for transmission to the host device. The edge server determines a first congestion control algorithm based on the first request message, including characteristics of the first request message. The edge server applies the first congestion control algorithm to the transport connection for application to the transmission of the first request message. Subsequently, the edge server receives a second request message for transmission to the host device over the transport connection. Based on the second request message, including characteristics of the second request message, the edge server determines and applies a second congestion control algorithm to the transport connection for application to the transmission of the second request message, wherein the second congestion control algorithm is different from the first congestion control algorithm

Apr 9, 2020
Appl. No.:
16/844106
Inventors:
- Santa Clara CA, US
Mayur Govind Kulkarni - Bangalore, IN
Junghoon Sun - San Jose CA, US
Jun Tae Choi - Cupertino CA, US
Hang Yu - Sant Jose CA, US
Assignee:
Applied Materials, Inc. - Santa Clara CA
International Classification:
H01J 37/32
H01L 21/02
Abstract:
Exemplary semiconductor processing chambers may include a gasbox. The chambers may include a substrate support. The chambers may include a blocker plate positioned between the gasbox and the substrate support. The blocker plate may define a plurality of apertures through the plate. The chambers may include a faceplate positioned between the blocker plate and the substrate support. The faceplate may be characterized by a first surface facing the blocker plate and a second surface opposite the first surface. The faceplate may be characterized by a central axis. The faceplate may define a plurality of apertures through the faceplate distributed in a number of rings. Each ring of apertures may include a scaled increase in aperture number from a ring radially inward. A radially outermost ring of apertures may be characterized by a number of apertures reduced from the scaled increase in aperture number.

Alignment Systems Employing Actuators Providing Relative Displacement Between Lid Assemblies Of Process Chambers And Substrates, And Related Methods

View page
US Patent:
20190390334, Dec 26, 2019
Filed:
Sep 5, 2019
Appl. No.:
16/561329
Inventors:
- Santa Clara CA, US
Jason Michael LAMB - Sunnyvale CA, US
Jun Tae CHOI - Cupertino CA, US
Rupankar CHOUDHURY - BANGALORE, IN
Zhong Qiang HUA - Saratoga CA, US
Juan Carlos ROCHA-ALVAREZ - San Carlos CA, US
International Classification:
C23C 16/44
Abstract:
Alignment systems employing actuators provide relative displacement between lid assemblies of process chambers and substrates, and related methods are disclosed. A process chamber includes chamber walls defining a process volume in which a substrate may be placed and the walls support a lid assembly of the process chamber. The lid assembly contains at least one of an energy source and a process gas dispenser. Moreover, an alignment system may include at least one each of a bracket, an interface member, and an actuator. By attaching the bracket to the chamber wall and securing the interface member to the lid assembly, the actuator may communicate with the bracket and the interface member to provide relative displacement between the chamber wall and the lid assembly. In this manner, the lid assembly may be positioned relative to the substrate to improve process uniformity across the substrate within the process chamber.

Mobile Accelerator

US Patent:
20190334812, Oct 31, 2019
Filed:
Jul 8, 2019
Appl. No.:
16/505458
Inventors:
- San Francisco CA, US
Jun Ho Choi - Mountain View CA, US
International Classification:
H04L 12/725
H04W 40/00

Software Defined Dynamic Filtering

View page
US Patent:
20170086092, Mar 23, 2017
Filed:
Sep 23, 2015
Appl. No.:
14/863339
Inventors:
- Milpitas CA, US
Jun Ho Choi - Mountain View CA, US
International Classification:
H04W 28/02
H04W 28/12
Abstract:
Techniques that provide for intelligent routing of mobile device traffic using custom protocols or protocols that are otherwise unsuitable for optimization by a mobile accelerator system are discussed herein. Some embodiments may include a point-of-presence (POP) configured to manage a dynamic listing defining a listing of content server associated with traffic that is not suitable for being optimized. Upon receiving traffic from the content server, the POP may be configured to access the dynamic filter, and route data transfers between the mobile device and the content server to bypass the mobile accelerator system when indicated by the dynamic filter. The POP may be further configured to update the dynamic filter, such as by adding or removing content servers based on parsing associated traffic for optimization suitability and/or protocol use.
