Abstract:
A method and apparatus for diagnosing database performance problems using a plurality of wait classes is provided. A set of statistical data that describes current activity within a database system is periodically retrieved. The set of statistical data may include information about the current activity of each user session connected to the database system. Thereafter, a set of cumulative statistical data that describes activity in the database system over a period of time is updated to reflect the retrieved set of statistical data. The set of cumulative statistical data includes statistics associated with each of a plurality of wait classes. A graphical user interface that displays the set of cumulative statistical data may be presented to a user. The graphical user interface allows the user to quickly ascertain the nature of the database performance problems by providing a view of the set of cumulative statistical data.

Dec 9, 2005
Appl. No.:
11/298017
Inventors:
Milind Kopikare - Sunnyvale CA, US
Hui Yao Lin - Fremont CA, US
James Yee - Fremont CA, US
Chuong Vu - San Jose CA, US
Assignee:
Marvell World Trade Ltd. - St. Michael
International Classification:
H04B 17/00
H04B 7/00
US Classification:
455130, 455 6713, 4552321, 4552261, 455296
Abstract:
A wireless network device includes a signal receiving module that receives an RF signal, and a signal processing module that includes an automatic gain control (AGC) module and that generates control signals when a gain of the AGC module changes based on the RF signal. The network device includes a control module that selectively measures N time intervals between one of adjacent and non-adjacent control signals, wherein N is an integer greater than 1, and that selectively determines that the RF signal is a radar signal when the N time intervals are substantially equal.

US Patent:
8041317, Oct 18, 2011
Filed:
Oct 5, 2009
Appl. No.:
12/573361
Inventors:
Milind Kopikare - Sunnyvale CA, US
Hui Yao Lin - Fremont CA, US
James Yee - Fremont CA, US
Chuong Vu - San Jose CA, US
Assignee:
Marvell World Trade Ltd. - St. Michael
International Classification:
H04K 3/00
H04B 17/00
H04B 1/06
H04B 7/00
US Classification:
455130, 455 1, 455 6711, 455136, 4552341, 342 73, 342 92
Abstract:
A system includes a radio frequency transceiver. A baseband processor includes an automatic gain control module. The automatic gain control module has a gain that changes from and subsequently returns to a predetermined value each time the radio frequency transceiver receives a radio frequency signal. The baseband processor is configured to selectively generate an interrupt signal each time a radio frequency signal is received based on a magnitude of the change in the gain of the automatic gain control module and a length of time in which the gain returns to the predetermined value. A control module is configured to identify a radio frequency signal received by the radio frequency transceiver as a radar signal in response to the baseband processor having generated a plurality of interrupt signals at substantially equal time intervals.
