Abstract:
An engine comprises a block, a piston, a head, a fuel injector, and a sleeve. The block includes at least one bore. The piston is configured to reciprocate within the bore. The head is coupled to the block and defines with the block and the piston a combustion chamber. The fuel injector is coupled to the head and is configured to deliver fuel to the combustion chamber. The fuel injector includes an actuator extending between a first axial position and a second axial position along a longitudinal axis of the fuel injector. The sleeve is coupled between the head and the fuel injector and extends between a third axial position and a fourth axial position along the axis of the fuel injector. The area between the first and second axial positions at least partially overlaps the area between the third and fourth axial positions.

A detachable sunglasses with an adjustable bridge is adapted for selectively adjusting the distance between two sun-lenses thereof, so that a particular style and size of such sunglasses can fit various shapes and sizes of eyeglasses. A continuous process is presented for the production and recovery of a high purity stream of 2,6-dimethylnaphthalene. The process comprises the general steps of: fractionating a hydrocarbon feed stream to recover a process stream rich in the various isomers of dimethylnaphthalene; subjecting the process stream rich in isomers of dimethylnaphthalene to a selective adsorption step to produce at least two streams of dimethylnaphthalene isomers, one lean in the 2,6-dimethylnaphthalene isomer and subjecting the stream of dimethylnaphthalene isomers lean in the 2,6 isomer to isomerization to increase the concentration of the 2,6 isomer of dimethylnaphthalene therein and directing the isomerized stream back to the fractionation zone to further processing.

A natural gas engine system may have an engine having at least one cylinder. The engine may also have an intake manifold configured to deliver air for combustion to the cylinder and an exhaust manifold configured to discharge exhaust from the cylinder. The natural gas engine system may have a generator coupled to the engine. The generator may be configured to generate electrical power for an electrical load. The natural gas engine system may have a fuel source configured to supply natural gas for combustion in the engine, and an air tank in fluid communication with the intake manifold and the exhaust manifold. Further, the natural gas engine system may have a controller. Abstract:
The disclosure provides a method to operate an engine system. The method begins by determination of a current NOvalue. If the current NOvalue is greater than a first predetermined NOtarget, an air-fuel ratio (AFR) set-point is adjusted by a first predetermined value in towards a rich AFR. Upon detection of the current NOvalue below the first predetermined NOtarget, a first average of NOvalues for a first predetermined time is determined. The AFR set-point is adjusted by a second predetermined value and a second average of NOvalues for a second predetermined time is determined. A delta NOvalue is determined as a difference between the first average and the second average and compared with a second predetermined NOtarget. The AFR set-point is determined when the delta NOvalue is below the second predetermined NOtarget.
