A vehicle trim component is disclosed. The vehicle trim component includes a base with a track. A panel movable between a first position and a second position and having at least one guide member at its lateral edge that engages the track as the panel is moved between the first position and the second position. A latch device for a cover member includes a box body having at least of a pair of walls and an upside opening, a cover member that is mounted on the box body to enable the upside opening to be opened and closed, a handle member mounted on the cover member such that the handle member may rotate. A collapsible storage bin is provided for a motor vehicle. The collapsible storage bin includes a first sidewall that is displaceable between a collapsed position and an erected position. First and second self-erecting end walls are connected to the first sidewall. Further, an end wall locking handle is provided. That end wall locking handle is displaceable between a stowed position and an end wall locking position that functions to secure the storage bin in the erected position.

Abstract:
A component for vehicle interior is disclosed. The component comprises a base, a bin and a cover. The cover is configured to move relative to the base from a closed position to cover the bin to an intermediate position to partially uncover the bin to an open position to uncover the bin. The cover provides a latch. The latch is configured to secure the cover to the base at the closed position, the intermediate position and the open position. The latch is also configured to release the cover from the base at the closed position, the intermediate position and the open position. The latch comprises a button and two arms. The button is configured to facilitate movement of the two arms between an extended position and a retracted position. The two arms engage with the base to secure the cover to the base when the two arms are at the extended position. The two arms disengage with the base to release the cover from the base when the two arms are at the retracted position.

Abstract:
A console for a vehicle interior is disclosed. The console comprises an armrest assembly and a storage compartment. The armrest assembly for the console is configured to facilitate comfort for vehicle occupants. The armrest assembly is adjustable between a lowered position and a raised position. The armrest assembly is also configured to facilitate access to the storage compartment. The armrest assembly may be configured to move between an open position and a closed position. The armrest assembly may provide a tambour door configured to facilitate access of the storage compartment. The storage compartment is accessible when the armrest or tambour door is at the open position; the storage compartment is covered when the armrest or tambour door is at the closed position. The console may also provide a cover (e.g. a shroud) configured to cover the storage compartment when the armrest is between the lowered position and the raised position. A mechanism may be configured to allow movement of the armrest from the lowered position to the raised position, from the raised position to a terminal position and from the terminal position to the lowered position. The terminal position comprises a released position.

Abstract:
An armrest assembly includes a pivot joint positioned at a first longitudinal end of the armrest assembly. The pivot joint is configured to rotatably couple the armrest assembly to a housing of a vehicle interior component. The armrest assembly also includes an armrest configured to rotate about the pivot joint between a lowered position and a raised position. In addition, the armrest assembly includes an adjustment mechanism positioned at a second longitudinal end of the armrest assembly, opposite the first longitudinal end. The adjustment mechanism is configured to hold the armrest in one of a variety of vertical positions including the lowered position and the raised position.
