Zeta Tau Alpha Lady 2013
"Kristen is deserving of the Zeta Lady award for her outstanding contributions and passion for both Zeta Tau Alpha and the Moravian community. During her time on Moravian’s Panhellenic Council, Kristen played a vital role in putting in place numerous programs for all Greek organizations to gain recognition on campus. As a senior, Kristen’s passion for ZTA did not dwindle in the slightest, as she stepped up to serve as Kappa Iota’s Goldstar Chair for her senior spring semester while a sister studied abroad. In addition to taking on this role her senior year. Kristen agreed to help with Moravian’s Panhellenic Formal Recruitment in spring 2013 because a member of another chapter was unable to fulfill her position. Her dedication to improving not only our chapter but other chapters at Moravian shows Kristen’s good heart and well-rounded personality. Her attendance, attitude, and desire to come to sisterhood events and campus events didn’t change either, serving as a model for other seniors in our chapter to follow. Kristen embodies our creed in numerous ways, but especially in having “the welfare and harmony of the Fraternity at heart,” for she helped to formally pledge the Lambda Zeta Chapter at Lehigh University and the Lambda Theta Chapter at NYU, as well as initiating Lehigh’s chapter. Outside of ZTA, Kristen is no different, for she serves in various clubs and activities. She consistently helps others, serving as a student tutor for both Psychology and Mathematics. This commitment to helping other better themselves, these acts of selflessness demonstrated by Kristen throughout her years at Moravian serve as a prime example of who a Zeta Lady is. Kristen’s passion for ZTA and all of her activities is unparalleled, as she puts in all of her energy until the very end. There are very few people who can compare to Kristen and what she has accomplished, which is why the Kappa Iota Chapter believes she is deserving of the Province Zeta Lady award."
