US Patent:
20180360207, Dec 20, 2018
Filed:
Jun 20, 2017
Appl. No.:

This lifting functionality is configured so that the item is usable in a variety of human ergonomic positions, such as seated and standing. Typically, the furniture is a desk, and the lift-top surface elevates a portion of the desktop from a seated to standing position using a lift mechanism or lift means hidden within a compartment of the desk body during non-use. The compartment may double as a storage, such as for cables, wires, and other typical office equipment.

US Patent:
20170006842, Jan 12, 2017
Filed:
Sep 21, 2015
Appl. No.:
14/859879
Inventors:
Cory Neudeck - Wentzville MO, US
William Noble - Des Peres MO, US
International Classification:
A01K 63/00
A47B 46/00
A47B 37/00
A47B 96/20
A47B 13/08
A47B 1/00
A47B 81/00
Abstract:
Pieces of furniture which have a single configuration of parts, but that configuration allows for two different positions into which they may be placed and those positions provide different functionality from each other. Thus, the furniture has two different uses, but switching between them simply requires placing the piece of furniture in a different arrangement instead of removing or adding parts or moving parts relative to each other. Specifically, the piece of furniture is generally “flipped-over” to switch between arrangements.
