When I first flew from Brazil, my native country, to Florida, I was seduced by Florida's sunshine and the numerous bodies of water that I saw from the air. The majestic ocean, canals, lakes, lagoons and ponds as well as countless swimming pools formed a shining carpet covering the Southern part of the state. And I fell in love with Florida and with a bright and funny American man, called Kevin, who would later be my husband. So I called the East coast of Florida my home, for six years, until Kevin and I discovered Florida's hidden treasure, its West coast or to be more precise, Port Charlotte, Punta Gorda & North Port area. Previous to moving to the US, I attended college in Brazil and graduated in Industrial Design, which led me to work with Interior Design, that as Real Estate, is an activity that helps homeowners to turn houses into homes. But my passion for languages and different cultures brought me to this country, where I attended Broward College, majoring in International Business, always with my goals in mind: bring different peoples together, promote business that help people, this time using my sales skills as well as my bilingual training. After working for an export company and a hotel in Miami area, I got involved with the entertainment industry and worked from home for a Miami company that provides movie translation and subtitles for cable TV. The translation job helped me to reach one of my goals, be proficient in two languages, Portuguese and English, but I was lacking people interaction. It was when I realized that it was time to put together my sales, language and people skills to promote business that help people. And I got my license as a real estate agent. Today Kevin and I live in North Port, FL with our beloved pets, Xieng, the dog, and Brigitte and Jean Luc, the bunnies. I also speak Spanish and love photography, which led me to create a page on Facebook, where I display my love for the West Coast of Florida in pictures.
